 My girlfriend had just started training at Long John Silvers in Clearfield, Pa. to be the Asst Manager at the DuBois location(she was hired as an Asst. Manager) She was in the walk-in cooler getting coleslaw for the front end, to be ready to be served to customers. Angel walked in and asked why she didn't use the rest of the other container of coleslaw. It was the 10th of Dec., and that container had a do not use after Dec. 9th label. My girlfriend told her it was past use date. Angel went and got Robin S. who demanded that my girlfriend use it anyway. Robin S. also would stand at register and slap my girlfriends hand in front of customers while they were ordering, if she thought she was doing something incorrect. Plenty more to the story if anyone wants to hear about it...........Long story short, my girlfriend was told today she no longer has a job with Long John Slivers, because she refused to train at the Clearfield location. She would have gladly continued training at the DuBois location, but Keith Jurasz said no, and that we need to part ways. Be careful, very careful if you make the mistake to eat at the Long John Slivers in Clearfield, Pa. Another disturbing thing was that another Robin(General Manager at Clearfield location) told my girlfriend that "My store is #1 and I won't have you help make it #2. What a bunch of Morons!

It's not "Slander" If It's the truth darling. So "David Palmer" I sugguest you understand the real story. This is obviously a bitter ex employees way of getting sympathy and the man who wrote it made it quite obvious. This woman is crazy and there is absolutely nothing you can do to hide it. You also, seem like you have something wrong in the attic. Niether of you have jobs. What are you, living off the system? You two are pathetic pieces of society. Thats all I have to say. I dont have time to deal with scum bags like you. It's sad when her own children want her to give up her parental rights. Thats how bad we dispise this woman for everything that she has done to us. The mental abuse is TERRIBLE. Telling her children they will never go far in life. Dumping their stuff in a parking lot, leaving it there and, telling them to find a way to get it to their dads. GREAT MOTHER! A mom who left her daughter at a trailer that didn't have drinking water, or even at times when she was on her period and asked her MOTHER to come home from her BOYFRIENDS to bring her the items that she needetd I always got "not my problem". Now you tell me that this woman isn't insane. Also I have proof that shes committing adultry you don't just give a box of KY to a married woman for christmas now do you Mr. Palmer? Tell " Tammy Wiggin " That I hope you two have a wonderful life together.  I'm done now. Good bye. :)

 It is so nice of you to deal your dirty laundry on a site like this little girl(puppet).  Also, you should really make an appointment to see a shirnk! Letting your emotions go crazy, and spewing(to cast forth, gush, or eject, as in discust or anger) lies for the world to see(there are well over 15 million people that use/or have used this site)may mean you have deep issues. I believe there is more than just your parents getting a divorce that has you acting this way. Please seek help.....Oh, I almost forgot to add this. SLANDER(noun) 1- defamation; calumny: rumors full of slander. 2- a mailcious, false, and defamatory statement or report: a slander against his good name. 3- Law. defamation by oral utterance than by writhing, pictures, etc. Verb(used with object) 4- to utter slander against; defame.  Okay listen here Dave. We are talking about a psychologically insane woman here. Someone who accused her husband of” beating her “Which obviously never happened.” By the way, they are still married so she’s committing adultery “Second, this woman that we are talking about here threw her children out and left their stuff in a parking lot. Also a lot more but I'm pretty sure you don’t want me to mention the rest ;). So knowing the previous events that has occurred what makes you think that she wouldn’t lie about this event as well? Knowing the "Queen of mean" That’s what her fellow Giant Eagle employees in Dubois knew her as when, she worked there. 
 

  I find your article to be crap and I will be sure to inform the Clearfield Long John Silvers of the type of person that they are dealing with if it has to come to that. Also in my opinion, it must take a REAL MAN to tell a 16 yr old girl to grow up when he can’t himself. Now you go have fun with my mother.

I'm pretty sure that there is suppose to be a space between “about(used".  I'm also pretty sure that you should have used "use" Instead because, you are grammatically incorrect. Look! I can use big words to just like you.

This person probably had no clue what she was doing and is going out of thier way to hurt a long standing perfectly good buisness, I want to know one thing Has the person who is making this claim Serve Safe Certified, Have the ever worked in a restaurant before. And is this a person going out of there way to be petty and hurt a buisness because they are discrunteled. Before people believe such outlandish comments made by a person on line who will not give thier full name and address should never be taken seriously.

Re-read my post, then if you like make corrections to the stupid thing you had to say about the matter of the coleslaw.  Amazing how people take the time to really understand what is being said in this report about Long John Silver's. Looks like you read it once and commented without thinking. Oh thats right, Mike was telling you what to say. Grow up little girl!

So I'm only here posting my opinion. I honestly can not believe that a fast food industry would put their customers or even work staff in that type of situation. If The cole slaw was prepared on the 10th of Dec. It honestly should have been good until the 17th as long as it was kept at 42 degreese or lower. You can also keep foods like coleslaw for 7 days max. So this doesnt make any sense to me and, I'm serve safe certified as well so I know what I'm talking about. I don't see a resteraunt manager or staff treating an employer or trainee with such disrespect. Personally, I feel that this story has been overexagerated and pushed to It's limits. I do not believe this to a point. I think what happened was, an employee that has never worked in the food industry that has no idea how it works, jumped in, didn't understand, and gave up. Honestly if you have no experience in the culinary field, do not just " jump in " It takes time. You cant just master being a resteraunt manager in a day. Even if it is just a Long John Silvers.

 Update on the Long John Silvers situation with my girlfriend. She met with Keith Jurasz(district manager) and Mindy, the Director of Operations. Mindy said she could still keep her job, as Keith did a week before, but she would still have to train at the Clearfield location where she was abused by a shift manager. So this company, Long John Silvers, would put an employee in jeopardy by telling them the only way to keep your job is to be placed in hamrs way. Oh, she mentioned that she could train in Altoona or Johnstown which are both 150-200 miles round trip.

So work an 8-10 hour day and have 4 hours of drive time each day for a month. I went to the Clearfield location with signs to protest the goingsons at the Clearfield location. Mindy, The Director of Operations showed up and asked me if I didn't think what I was doing was bizarre. So she thinks freedom of speech is bizarre.   What is bizarre is that Long John Silvers has employees who let customers drink beer in the store while they eat. What is bizarre is that Long John Silvers hires employees who slap and hit the person they are training who was hired as an Asst. Manager at another location.

What is bizarre is that Long John Silvers has employees that force the person training to serve out of date coleslaw. What is bizarre is the the Long John Silvers Gereral Manager would tell over and over the person they are training who was hired as an Asst. Manager that the store she will be working at is a bad place to work and that the manager there doesn't know what she is doing. What is bizarre is that the same General Manager would show the trainee the books to prove her store is better than the DuBois store. What is bizarre is that due to the actions of the employees at the Clearfield location, it has caused someone to lose a nice yearly salary.
