On November 1, 2006 I purchased educational services from Long Term-Short term Inc dba Better Trades. Their representatives promised step by step instruction and plenty of assistance in learning how to trade stocks. I paid $2995.00 for their six month course.

During their presentation they said I could attend two days of classes or use their DVD course, there was no difference. I took the DVD course. While viewing the presentation they didn't really teach anything in detail, but referred to their other computer course and later lessons.

I contacted the company looking for the step by step instructions, I believed I had purchased, and the stories and run around began. I could buy the $4000 computer service they offered, but when I declined they sent me web sites I could look at from other companies. After several phone calls I finally got the online mentor classes that came with the package. When I viewed one of the classes I was informed by the online instructor they were not there to teach, but you guessed it, for another fee I could take their classes.

When I started asking for my money back I was told I just took the wrong classes, or didn't do this or that. What happened to all the help and step by step instructions?

I have written two letters to the Better Business Bureau, in Nevada, case # 177946, and Mr. Smith, of Long Term-Short Term Inc. replied it was my entire fault and besides I signed a contract.

I am extremely frustrated with this company. They are the ones who have not lived up to their side of this contract. How can I apply tools and skills I have not received?

This company is nothing but a fraud!!! STAY AWAY from it and anything or anyone associated with this group regardless of what name they use.

I have been a Better Trades Student for 2 years & know about 300 others, who have spent a Great Deal of money (some up to $80,000.) & have similar regrets. Please contact me. I paid for a quarter of mentoring sessions, & suddenly without any reason they cut me off, wont refund my money & apparently is going to sue me, for what I don't know? I just found this out tonight & would like to speak to a lawyer ASAP, that may be familiar with this company & it's behaviors. Thank You.
