Longhorn Towing/The Ivy Apartments My car was towed with a resident sticker on my car;Sister's car towed one mont later Dallas, Texas

I moved into The Ivy apartment complex shortly before Christmas. After signing my lease, I was informed of the complex's parking policy. I also received a resident sticker to place on my windshield.

The complex's policy is you have to have a resident sticker or a visitor pass inside your vehicle visable to the towing co.(which you have to go to the office to get). These passes are only temporary(3-5 days) and you must go to the office each time you have a visitor to get the visitor pass. For example, if you came to my house to visit, say for an emergency, I(the lease holder would have to go the office and obtain the pass.) If this pass is not in your car, longhorn immediately tows your car. 3 days after I moved in Longhorn towed my car and it had a resident sticker on it! To make things worse they argued with the complex manager about bringing it back!  When longhorn brought the car back, they would not bring it back to the parking spot they took it from! They left my car(which is not running now) in front of the apartment complex office. I took my car to a mechanic and he advised me the the transmission had been damaged and the drive shaft was gone! But, I have no way of proving that they damaged my car! 

Two months later my sister's car was towed for not having the "visitor pass". She came to my house to use the restroom and when she returned to the parking lot, her car was gone. Longhorn is a huge ripoff. They are also rude and unprofessional. I would not be surprised to find out some of these activities are not legal! Just wanted my story out there in case this happened to someonelse. Thank goodness my lease is almost up!!
