I placed an order for a pet tag for my new puppy via the internet site loveyourpets.com on 2/26/02.

The order was secured with a visa, and I received a email back the same day confirming my order and saying I would receive the pet tag in 2 weeks. An email was listed as info@loveyourpets.com if I had questions or comments.

The amount was charged on 3/4/02. Since that time I have not received the pet tag and I have sent emails starting on 3/15 and continuing on 3/19,3/20,3/21,3/22,3/25 asking for information on this order. As of today 3/26/02 I have still not received the pet tag, nor have any of my emails been responded too.

I have contacted my bank to cancel by creditcard and reported it to the internet fraud complaint center, as well as the National Fraud Inormation Center. It's pretty sad when you can't even order something like a pet tag without being ripped off.

And their web site boasts the name "love your pets", I guess that is to draw people to them. They even offered a second emergency phone number on the pet tag, so you would have two numbers to be contacted at, if your pet were lost, I thought it was a great idea, so I fell for it.

They was no other way of contacting them except for the email address, no phone number was listed or address for this company.

I believe my title says it all. The issue written above by Scarlett was eventually resolved, and it a shame that this "Ripoff Report" is still floating around on the internet. Sometimes there are misunderstandings, and I assure you that Love Your Pets is a company with great integrity, and has never once "ripped off" any of their customers. The company has millions of satisfied customers and a very dedicated group of staff who want nothing more than to help loving animal owners equip their pets with the most durable tags available, and with the utmost expediency.

It is unfortunate that Scarlett had such an experience and, as an employee of Love Your Pets since 2001, I can attribute it only to the GREAT deficiency of one member of our staff, though this is no excuse for bad service. Since this occurrence, the staff member has been removed, and business is running more smoothly than ever.

I would like to reiterate once more that Love Your Pets has and will NEVER steal or otherwise cheat a customer. It is a company with nothing but the satisfaction of its customers in mind, and this will never change.
