Earlier this year, I ordered a DVD of the classic movie Casbah from Loving the Classics.  The DVD we received is unwatchable.  Not only is the video fuzzy and the sound poor, it stops, stutters and repeats. 

Attempts to contact LTC to request a refund have met with complete frustration.  They appear to have had trouble with customer satisfaction in the past since they recently announced new and improved procedures.  But, there is no evidence that they have improved.  There was no confirmation of the order and no invoice so their "request a refund" facility does not work since an order number is required.  Published telephone numbers have been disconnected, and all of our emails have been ignored.

There are indications that the company may be located in Ohio, possibly Cleveland, but we've been unable to find enough information to report them to the Better Business Bureau.  Companies that hide behind unreachable email addresses and deliver inferior products should not be allowed to operate on the Internet.  Since most orders represent small amounts of money, it's likely that  customers who have bad experiences with Loving The Classics simply write them off, but the principle involved doesn't depend on the amount of money wasted.
