The mover has not delivered my goods until 8 days after the promised date on the bill of lading.  Estimated delivery date from FL to TX was August 20 - 21st.  It was not delivered until August 29th.  I have been in a hotel with two small children that had to start school without any of their things.  They cost me additional hotel expenses, having to buy new clothes for me and my children since we did not have our things - and shoes.  I had to pay for additional hotel costs, clothes and shoes for me and my kids, eating out every day for breakfast and dinner.

Additional gas from driving longer distances to drop them off at school, then to work then back to their school then to hotel.

Additional gas expenses from driving kids from hotel to school, then back 1 hour to work then to their school in teh afternoon - 1 hr and them back to hotel.  This is my drive everyday.  They told me they took my goods off the truck in FL and stored it for 5 days..!!  Without my knowledge... is this unprofessional... who unloads your things, store them and then reloads... I thought they were headed to Texas with my things in the truck.  They say that 2 days ago, they re-loaded my shipment and was estimating that it would be delivered today, tomorrow or Sunday.  Still they would not give a day nor time.

My salesperson was Keith, the manager... he tells me to call on the estimated weekend delivery date if I don't hear anything and that the calls go directly to his cell phone.  That he would be there with me to make sure the delivery went smoothly.  Even talked about his proposal to his wife.. what a loser.

Then I kept calling when my things weren't delievered by the 23rd and got Matt, which coincidently sounded like Keith.

Then called a week later and got Yolanda and she put me in touch with Mike, who also sounded like Keith and Matt.  Mike said the owner - Mr. Metley or something was out of town and he has to sign paperwork to compensate me for my expenses.

7 days after my items were to be delivered and still not delivered, I called back to speak with the owner and Yolanda and Mike say he hasn't come to the office... he had some personal emergency.

I received a call from the driver on a Saturday evening at 8:30pm saying he has my things and will be there Sunday morning between 9am - 12pm and he demanded CASH.  I told him there was no way I can get that kind of money on a weekend nite.  So we scheduled for delivery on Monday.

My contract say they will take money order, cashier's check, cash.  The driver was a subcontractor - so was not affiliated with Low Country Van Lines.  I can't take it out on him.

I recorded this, Mike via my cell phone telling me that he would compensate me and I told him he was being recorded and he said he didn't care because he has nothing to hide.

I am from Florida and I am filing the lawsuit against this company and will be there in person with my attorney to make sure they get what they deserve.

We are looking for others to join the law suit.  I'll wait for 2 weeks to get as many people as possible.  Also, I filed with the DOT, my case # is #100052506.  If you'd like to use this as a reference for your filing, please feel free to do so.

No one has ever come at them in this regard, so we need to pool together our experiences and teach these people a lesson that will get them where it hurts and where it hurt us, in our pockets.

I am a single Mom, MBA educated and will fight back when mistreated and demeaned.

They also asked me for a tip and said they were giving me boxes and bubble wrap for free after doubling my original moving estimate.  They told me my things were big also, and that was the reason why they needed to increase it.

All in all, I've spent in excess of $5,000 MORE in dealing with these people than the original quote - when you add up ALL my expenses and them doubling my estimate.


Please contact me immediately...!!  I also want to know of other sites we can contact others that were mistreated, taken advantage off and ripped off...!!!
