To whom it may concern or potential customers,

i had a car transported from texas to connecticut by loyalty auto transport. i purchased the car from a dealership in houston and the sales person there said that they shipped cars all the time. i asked if he could take care or the arrangments. he said it was no problem. the car left houston on a friday morning and was suppose to be in my parking lot sunday. i was given the phone number of the dispatcher by my car dealership. sunday came and went and no car had arrived. so, monday about mid day i called the dispatcher and ask about my car. i was told to contact the driver directly. i did just that. i called and left a messege for the driver. a few minutes later i recieved a phone call from the drivers son who told me that his dad was behind schedule and stuck in new jersey waiting for a customer so he could drop off another car, he said he would be in connecticut late that day. i told his son to relay that there was no need to rush and that tomorrow was fine with me. his son thanked me and we hung up. well, tuesday morning came and the car had not arrived. i called the driver again and was told that the car would be there in 2 hours.

when the car showed up in my parking lot, the hood, the nose and the fenders were covered in hydraulic fluid which had leaked on it from the trucks lift cylinders above. i showed the driver and he tried to wipe it off the fender with his glove??? at this point i was fairly dissappointed and walked away while the car was being unloaded.

after he finished unloading the car the driver approached me and showed me a picture of a car on some paperwork with a big circle around the front of it. he said " i circle all of it" to show me about the fluid on it. the then said "ok?" ... "you sign" .. i said this is for the fluid on the car? he said "i circle all of it".. "ok".. so i signed that my car was covered in his fluid... the story gets WORSE.

i immediately took the car to the car wash to get the hydraulic fluid off the car.  when i washed the car, the fluid ate the clearcoat on my hood and 2 spots on my headlight covers.. great my present to my wife for 10 years of marriage and her 40th birthday now needs to be painted, and she doesnt even know the corvette exists.

so, i called the car dealership, and spoke to tim (my salesman). he sent me over there insurance paperwork and suggested i call. i did. i called the insurance agency listed and spoke to Kledis at 10k insurance (305-889-2964). i explained to her what happened. she said she would call loyalty auto transport and get back to me. she did, the next day. she said the driver told me you signed that the car was ok and thats it. i said, "no, i signed that the car was covered in hydraulic fluid based on the big circle he drew on the car". well, she told me she was waiting for a letter from her insured and would get back to me, but that i should hope for anything. so, i called my salesman back and explained it to him. he said he would leave bad feedback on the transport and that should get there attention. i waited 3 days and heard nothing, so i called the insurance agency back and spoke to Kledis, she said " i told you there was nothing that could be done, you signed for the car!" i asked to see the letter and was told no. i then went to explain that the driver didnt speak english and how was he saying there was nothing wrong to you when he could bearly say "ok" to me??? i then asked for the phone number for the insurance company and was again told no. i hung up, she was useless.  i decided to call the dispatch number. i believe this is the owner. i told him what was going on and before i could politely finish he said " oh, yeah, you signed for it, nothing i can do"... i said i have pictures of the car in texas and pictures of the car on the truck in my parking lot. theyre was not any paint missing and it wasnt covered in hydraulic fluid. he told me to send him the pics. i did. that was 3 days ago and he wont return my phone calls..

THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH...

So my hope is that someday they will admit guilt and pay my $950.00 body shop bill, but i doubt it..

first of all, id like to thank you for the address correction. i appriacate the help with that.
second, i would like to take this time to re-explain the fact that i did in fact read the BOL, as you like to call it and did in fact sign that i was claiming damage. sorry if that wasnt clear. next, look closely at the first picture of the car. there isnt any clear coat missing on the car and i am suprised that you didnt bother to look at this, because you seem so informed. i would like to point out to you or anyone else that would like to clime in, that i didnt go about this to hurt someone nor did i intend to use ripoff report, however, i have been wronged by this trucking company. this damage WAS caused by the HYDRAULIC fluid. it is just as corrosive as brake fluid. it acts fairly quickly and doesnt take months. so instead of protecting a fellow trucking company lets be truthful here. further more those "OLD SPOTS" you are refuring to cant possibly be old and the paint on the car is in otherwise wonderful condition, again, look at the first pic of the car. that clearly shows the paint and condition and lack of clearcoat  missing.. so please, lets be honest. hydraulic fluid can do this and it can do this in a relativily short amount of time.

now, back to the fact that Raul wont return my phone calls and and the only thing he kept repeating to me was "you signed" "you signed". says alot about his character and the practices of his company and his employees.
i know cars, i know my rights and i know BAD character when i am a victom of it. So, please believe me. I AM A VICTOM OF VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE AND A VERY DISHONEST COMPANY..

Thanks for listening, and please dont EVER use LOYALTY AUTO TRANSPORT

The address listed for Loyalty transport is not correct. it should be:
Loyalty Auto Transport Inc
Carrier 3620 Robin ave.
Mcallen, TX 78504
Owner/Manager: Raul Aguila

Not knowing how your purchase transpired I cannot comment on if there was also a dealership issue but as someone who has over 19 years experience in moving cars, the pictures you posted is damage that would not have happened from a hydrolic fluid leak unless it sat and baked for a couple of months. Those spots are plain old defects in the clearcoat from being left out in the hot sun. We see it all the time here in the south.

We see many transporters these days that don't speak english. However the BOL you signed should have been in english and people need to read before signing. Normally is states you agree that the vehicle has been received in good condition unless noted otherwise.

ANYONE, if you are receiving a vehicle, the driver needs the BOL signed. Before signing, READ the statement telling you what you are signing. NOTE any damage on that paperwork and sign your name under your statement. This basically helps you with your claim as it says to the insurance company: " Yes, I received my car But I found some issues with it at the delivery that need to be addressed"
