Christina boger, of LPA Debt Solutions contacted me through a flyer and promised that she will help us negotiate settlement of a debt. She claimed that she is a state certified Debt Negotiations Specialist. She showed me a white ID Card with her name, picture and a number which she claimed was issued to her by the state. She charged us three hundred and fifty dollars. She went into the bank and cashed the money. We never heard from her again.

We reported this matter to the Williamson County Sheriff's office. An investigator was assigned to the case. We met with the detective and provided him with the details. The detective contacted Ms Boger and she told all sorts of lies to the detective.

Ms. Boger promised to meet with us to work out the matter. She never did . I contacted the detective and he told me that his hands were tied. Ms. Boger would not provide me her address. I later found that she uses a UPS mail box on 100 E. Whitestone Blvd. The address on her drivers license also bears the UPS mail box address. Ms. Boger has since seized all contacts with us. She has not returned my three hundred and fifty dollar.

Beware. Her phone number is 512-635-7031;512-340-0890.

Hi,

Prematurely filed this complaint.  Communications while slow the end result was that the work was done as expected.

I am happy with the results I received.  Please disregard my last comment.

Christine contacted me through a flyer as well.  She actually did a little bit of work filing some court documents and basically took my $375.00 and I have never heard back from her.  I am happy she did some work but I suspect I have surely gotten ripped off.  She won't return my calls or texts.  She used to return them ASAP before she cashed my check.

Please, everyone check this out: Report 322915. I have a judgment against this woman. Please be thankful you lost only a few hundred dollars. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY. I NOTICE SHE HAS POSTED A REMARK TO EVERYONE EXCEPT FOR THE JUDGEMENT INFO. I GUESS IT'S HARD TO DISPUTE WITH WHAT IS ON FILE AT THE TRAVIS COUNTY COURT HOUSE.

This complaint is completely false, and erroneous!!!

AUTHOR: Christina Boger - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 30, 2008

I feel it necessary to respond to this complaint, as it is completely false, and erroneous. I contacted my client by way of flyer to inform him that a lawsuit had been filed in Travis county court against him, and if he desired information on this matter to contact me by way of phone, or e-mail.

He did contact me by phone. We spoke in great detail about his case, and financial situation. He was being sued, his house payment was behind, he was unemployed, and his wife was out of the country leaving him with all the financial responsibility. He stated he was very stressed and wasn't sure how to proceed. I gave him several options on what he could do. At the end of our phone call he decided to meet with me. He asked where my office was and I told him, but since we both lived in Round Rock I felt it easier and more convenient to meet him at his home on my way into the office. He agreed!

I sat with him for over an hour. In that hour I produced letters on at least 20 cases I had taken on and negotiated successfully out of court at a reduced amount. I showed him documentation showing I have been certified in the field of debt negotiations. Never once did I state that I was a State Appointed Debt Negotiation Specialist. After I provided all this information to him, and together we came up with a plan to resolve his legal dispute. He then agreed to pay a fee of $350.00 dollars, and asked if I would take that in two equal payments. Given his situation at the time, I agreed.

I then verified his contact information. He signed off on everything. I went on my way.

In the two weeks he was my client I attempted to reach him at the number he gave me and never did he return my messages, but in fact claimed later that I never contacted him. Regardless of our lack of communication I still proceeded forward and negotiated his lawsuit and did settle his case out of court and at a reduced amount.

During that two week period he contacted the Williamson County Sheriffs Department to place a claim against me stating I had not contacted him, or worked on his case. The Sheriffs Department contacted me, and without hesitation I met with them. I brought all proof of attempts to contact my client as well as all proof that I had earned my fee according to our contract, and the case had been settled. The Sheriffs department released me of any wrong doing and told my client that he had no case against me. My client contacted me after this investigation and wanted to meet with me to discuss this issue further. I declined as I was afraid of him at this point, and since I had completed my work I felt there was nothing more I could do for him.

I have never hid that my business address is a P.O. BOX. I am given free office space at the Arboretum through a friend of mine who owns a collection firm (this allows me to pass on the savings to my clients), and since it's free I decided to obtain a secure mail box for my clients to send their private information to, or by the Attorney's who send me final letters on cases that have been settled. I do this to protect my client's privacy, and this information is disclosed in every meeting I have with a potential new client.

In closing I've been doing Civil Debt Negotiations for 15 years. I receive anywhere from 8 to 15 new clients a month. I meet with people who are broken both emotionally, and financially. I do my best to help them in every way possible, but it's virtually impossible to please every one every single time.

As first stated I'm not sure why my client chose to place a complaint against me. I can only guess that in part it's greatly to do his state of mind at the time we met, and the language barrier between us (do to his ethnic back ground) may have played a roll in is misinterpretation, and or misunderstanding of my services. Either way I never like any one I work with to feel like this client does. My only hope is that to any one who reads this, they will come to realize there are always two sides to every story.

At this time my client is fortunate that I'm forgiving as I could sue for slander, and damages. His complaint was all verbal. He produced no written documentation of his claim. However I was able to back up my claim (and it was all proven to be accurate and true) with written documentation.
