Do not use LSI for your Appraisal Management Company. They will take your clients money and provide an inferior product. I used them for my appraisal vendor and lost 4 out of 6 in underwriting due to the poor quality of the appraisal. The value itself had nothing to do with the appraisal. It was simply shoddy workmanship on the part of the appraiser and LSI was no help whatsoever in addressing the report. In one instance they simply ignored a request for appraisal changes for nearly 15 days.
Claiming they "never received notification" even though proof was provided. They surf their roster and employ the appraiser promising the quickest turn and the lowest fee. This was according to the rep I spoke with. I asked if they would stop using the appraiser because his work was sub-par and the clients didn't feel comfortable around him. They told me no..... he was on the list and they would use him even if I requested him not to be used. Not using them again ever..... I would advise doing the same.....

This company is the worst! I have been fighting to close on my house for 7 months now because they will not do their job! I have had two different appraisers apraise my house three different times. LSI cannot seem to communicate what the underwriters' requests and conditions are so that the appraiser can write a correct appraisal. They are worthless and if anyone is purchasing a home and you find out that LSI will be the appraisal company use another financial institution!! I don't know how they can possibly stay in business!!
