My wife ordered "30 Day Free Trial" from Luminess Air in March 2013.  Understood cost to be $138. Three days later we were charged additional $64.94 before she had even received product.  Called to cancel immediately realizing fraud and was told we would get email containing return authorization number.  Never received email.  Called back few weeks later and was told "too late".  In addition, NONE OF THE $138 CHARGE GOES TOWARDS PURCHASE!  The initial $138 is paying for the 30 day free trial!

Product was delivered by mail so we could not decline delivery but we did return to sender without even opening.  We have been charged $102 everymonth from this p.o.s. company and we have now paid over $615 for a product we do not even have.  Yes, $615!  EXTREMELY DECEPTIVE COMPANY.

Anybody working for Luminess should be ashamed.  You know you are ripping people off and there is really no excuse.  Again, $615 for product advertised as $138!  We are charging back what we can through our bank and we will see what happens.  Company should be shut down and owner and management should be put in jail.

Canceling your card doesn't fix the problem

Please see my experience below for trying to dispute through my bank -

I called in one late night after seeing an infomercial and thought I was getting something really neat for $19.99. Little did I know that what I received I would continue to be billed for a system costing over $300.00.

They also started sending me additional makeup and deducting money from my account unauthorized. I tried prior to the 30 day so called money back guarantee to return everything (which was still unopened) and all I could do is get a response from a so called stylist by text. By the time they had deducted 3 payments of $78. plus payments for makeup that kept getting shipped for $34.99 I went to my bank to dispute.

My bank originally gave me back the money. I had to pay to ship the machine and products back and when it was all said and done my bank ended up re-charging me for the reimbursement because they lied and stated that I went online to order and the website states the process & payments! Oh and by the way they charged me a $75.00 restocking fee for returning it! So now I'm frustrated out over $300.00 and I am sure I am just one of many like this!

SICK UNETHICAL COMPANY! p.s The only reason my bank allowed the charges is because of specific laws and regulations they have to meet and apparently this company has found the loophole in becoming an expert in fraud.

Just cancel your Credit Card

I don't understand why you didn't immediately call your credit card company to cancel your card and refuse to pay the charged amounts.  You can tell your credit card company that you refuse to pay the charge and then cancel your card so they can no longer charge anything to your card.  End of problem!
