$ 0.12 Computer

AUTHOR: Luther - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, January 25, 2013

What you saw was a misprint.  We, of course, would not be selling a computer for $0.12.  We reserve the right to change the prices of product at any time. With regard to you receiving a letter saying that you had to put 50% down, this has to do with your credit report.  We do run credit on applicants, but we do not base our financing on your credit report.  We base your eligibility on your work history. We offer different programs for different financial situations.  Your history indicated that you were eligible for our Lay Away Program which requires a down payment of 50%.

We are sorry that you had such a bad experience, but for over 46 years we have been providing families a way to afford the furniture, computers and other big ticket items that they might not otherwise be able to afford.

Relevance?

" You should check their pricing .They are trying to charge for this computer almost between 2500-5000 dollars. You thing thats not greedy?   "

What does that have to do with your original complaint?

On top of that, who cares what they are asking for a computer?   If the price is too high, no one will buy it and they'll be out of business soon.   That's not what I would call greedy.

On the other hand, what you were attempting  to do is the very definition of greed.

I know exactly that i can not purchase computer for 12 cents but me apologizing to them for what?

For their mistake, they should be the one apologizing instead having fun.

Maybe

The price you posted may or may not be greedy but that's pretty irrelevant isn't it?

If you know what they charge you can decide to buy or not, greedy maybe but certainly not a ripoff.

I'm not an Apple guy but I would LOVE to get an apple computer (or any other for that matter) for 12 cents.

Nice try though.

" So i started browsing their site and i placed order for apple computer with very low price.I know that was their mistake but the way they treated me when I called was terrible.Thay were laughing at me.  "

Your poorly written report contains a lot of non-pertinent nonsense, but I tried to figure it out.    Are you saying that you attempted to buy an new iMac for twelve cents?   What I find hard to believe is that you are surprised that they laughed at you on the phone.    Who wouldn't laugh?

You admit that you knew that there had been an error in the price, so you're trying to figure out how you can take advantage of that.    This isn't even a case where someone might have thought the posted price was real.   You are just a greedy opportunist trying to get something for nothing.  Get a real job.

"  What should I do in this case,i know that was their mistake but it was their problem.  "

I would suggest you call them up and apoligize for acting like a lowlife.   If a company makes a pricing error, they are not bound by it.    Especially if it's such a ridiculous price that it could only be an error.   That solves their problem, but that won't help you with yours.
