Luxia No. 7 Skin Care

I fell for the "Free Trial," for skin care products where the only charges were supposed to be for shipping, approx $4 - $5.

This is a subscription lure which I did anticipate - most of us are familiar with these types of sites but what is different about this site is how quickly you have to act to cancel.  First of all, the terms are not included in the package and they are not included in the order receipt.  The terms are on the website.  Luxia No. 7 has terms whereby you must cancel within 12 days or you will be charged $99 for the 'free trial.'  Outrageous and shame on me!

I cancelled one day late and this scam company will not refund my money.  I am filing a complaint with my state's attorney general as well.  I won't get my money refunded but hopefully the AG can pressure these kinds of companies to at least pretend to act reasonably.

Buyer beware indeed!

They got me too

AUTHOR: tbreaux - (USA)

I just recently experienced the exact same thing. Though I did call my bank and filed a dispute. I've spoken to Luxia's customer care 3 different times without sufficient resolution. Each time they ended the call with the exact same "rehearsed" dialogue word for word and then hung up on me. Why would they have to have a rehearsed speech?? I was also told that I was blackballed from doing any future business with them. Really...like I would choose to do that. Tory - Belle Rose, LA

I received a phone call from the company regarding my purchase before I received the product and before I received my credit card statement.

I had not received any product at this point. I told him to cancel the order, I don't want it. I asked him is this something you are going to charge me every month for? He said yes. I said cancel it I don't want it and he hung up. I received my statement and as charged $4.95, $3.95, and $2.95. I called my credit card company and said I cancelled this by phone when the company called me. I received eventually two items in one package sometime after January 28, 2017. I asked if they get a lot of complaints from this company and they said yes. No where did I see amounts of $98 or $97 or that they were going to charge me or that I needed to cancel to avoid a charge.
