Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

Luxsauna: My sales person Garett Gordon informed me that after paying $1595 for my sauna, that if I was dissatisfied, I had a money back guarantee. After returning the damaged sauna, the second one still didn't work. To my suprise, after deciding I had enough, LuxSauna and Garett informed me that I could return the sauna. Here is the catch - and let the buyer definitely beware of this one: I had to pay to ship the sauna back and the fine print buried in the web site states a 25% restocking fee.

So, the money back guarantee offered by luxsauna is - You will still pay approximately 30% of the total cost even if you decide you don't want the sauna.
Should you decide to call customer service - Good luck. They very rarely answer the phone.
David Shurtleff the owner who uses the name David Floyd will certainly be of no value should you have a problem.
As for Garett Gordon - he is just a liar from the get-go.
I would encourage two things:
1. Read all the available rip-off report posts about this company.
2. Buy from Sunlight or some other company who believes in integrity and customer service.
One positive note: Dave Hasty at the warehouse was most helpful, at least as much as he could be in this situation.

The delivery team that attempted to assemble the LuxSauna, were not as retarded as they appeared, i just think they had a hard time reading CHINEESE. It was frustrating, but quite the site to watch.

The plug at the end of the cord was a 20 amp plug, a fact that Garett Gordon failed to mention. Not only that, it did'nt even reach the outlet.

All in all, this was a very disappointing experience and I wished I would have done a bit more homework.

Later I found out that the company was in some sort of bankruptcy proceedings. Who knows on this one...

Do your homework before buying a LuxSauna.

Amazing how dumb

i'm surfing around - actually in the market for another sauna for my spa. i have a luxsauna now and definitely would/will buy another one. they are amazing.

after reading this guys - scam watcher - (NOTE: i've seen this guy on other sites as well as this one - complaining about every possible kind of product there is, 100s of complaints) search it out.. you'll see what i mean.

Honestly, is this the dumbest person on the EARTH???? or is this guy (whomever he is - anonymous) a scam artist paid to post complaints (stupid or otherwise) about companies FOR MONEY?

i mean who really is dumb enough to blame the manufacturer because THE PLUG/CORD WOULD NOT REACH THE OUTLET?????

It is true this person was delivered a damaged sauna due to shipping not our Quality control.  Now not only did we replace the sauna but we also gave a partial refund for the trouble. THIS CUSTOMER WAS SATISFIED and we heard nothing of new complaints.
Then OVER 90 days later called and wanted a 100% refund for not being satisfied.  Of course there is going to be a restocking fee - should that even be a question?  You bought and USED a health product that you sweat profously in and you expect us to not charge a restocking fee after the 90 days.  It's customers like these that are bringing American business down. 
Research any other Sauna company online and you will find the same if not a higher restocking fee for their saunas.  In fact Sunlight (company mentioned) has the same fee just listed different:  All cancelled or returned Goods shall be subject to: (a) storage fees and costs associated with re-routing the Goods; (b) a handling and restocking fee in the amount of $499 USD for each Signature, $499 USD for each Select. Oh and they only offer a 30 day return....and twice the money for the same product!
Thanks for calling me a liar and making a falsified libel claim agaist me and a company that tries to offer an AFFORDABLE product to consumers that actually need these saunas for health benefits.  It's people like you that force companies to raise their price due to extra shipping charges, attorney fees and having to write off a product YOU USED for months - so regular people can't afford the product.
We have sold over 10000+ saunas, endorsed by major health institutes (not Oprah), Hippocrates, Tree of Life, Issels Medical Institute to name a few.  We are also the only company that has contracts with major Health Insurance companies like United Health Care, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Rocky Mountain Health Care.
Oh and here is a recent testimonial that came in regarding us as a company and me as an employee:

Please be careful what you read on these " Anonymous" complaint websites.  If you call someone a LIAR, dont you think it would be appropriate to reveal your name and provide some concrete evidence that your story isn't just ONE SIDED! 
We are a great company with a great staff that offers a quality product at a fair price.
