Lydia Godfrey Lydia's photography scamming BRIDES out of money, their pictures and their special day Internet

Lydia showed up to my vow renewal and even took photos and still hasn't after over 6 months given me my photos. Lydia is a single mother and was pregnant at the time. I ended up paying her the rest of her payment early to help her out personally with getting her apartment.

I even had her to bring her boyfriend to the renewal to keep an eye on her considering she was having some pregnancy issues. I had already told her that if it was a risk coming to stay home. He showed up in jeans but nevertheless I paid for both of them to attend and they participated in everything including my photo booth (operated by another company).

My actual wedding the year prior was a small church wedding and I had maybe 10 usable photos. So before the renewal Lydia took the time to look over the photos and hear about how last year the photos were terrible.

She promised she would make it up as well as showed me other photos she had taken and was editing. Before my wedding she bragged about how she had a new computer and camera. I was stoked.

About a week or two before my wedding she stopped responding to my calls, text and emails. Then one day she just picked up and acted like everything was good like she didn't just go on a hiatus.

My grandmother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and wasn't able to attend the renewal. My grandmother asked numerous times about the photos. I called, emailed, facebook messaged, and text Lydia with no reply. My grandmother passed away and never saw any of the photos Lydia took. 

I didn't take photos with my cell phone because I wanted to just enjoy the moment and really that was why Lydia was paid to be there.

I am actually part of some wedding facebook pages where we all help each other out with our wedding stuff and she was still taking photos and signing contracts after she didn't give me my photos. Numerous pages deleted Lydia and banned her from the group(s) because admin was getting numerous complaints that she just didn't even show up and was ripping people off.

I got in contact with 1 bride that was begging on Lydia's fb page. She too had already paid Lydia and Lydia didn't even show up to her wedding that had come and gone.

Bottomline: Lydia is making so much money for a service she is not rendering. Weddings you only get once and here I got it twice and she ruined it. I take that extremely personal. That was money I couldn't afford to just waste and pictures that I needed.

 Hello. I am also a victim Lydia's scamming! She didn't even show up to my wedding and has stollen my money. For several weeks prior to my event, she ceased all communication with me, not responding to phone calls, voicemails, text messages, Facebook messages or posts. Even after my event, she is falling to so much as to TRY to contact anyone from my party about reimbursement of the FULL PAYMENT she owes us. Any info and help on catching this criminal is greatly appreciated!!

 Lydia has contacted most of the brides from mm what they have told me and she is working to correct the wrong. I believe she may have just gotten too much at once and with a high risk pregnancy which she provided proof of it was harder to get things done. I will update once everyone receives their pictures as promised
