Do NOT do business with these "Movers"!!! They give HORRIBLE customer service, MIX UP dates of YOUR move, then, CANCEL, with NO reason, only 3 days before your move, and REFUSE to call you back, even when you leave them many voice mail PLEAS, to contact you!!!

The woman in the office, is TERRIBLE, and rude!! The "Owner", Lyle, will seem to be nice, but, then, mix up your YOUR Move's dates, then REFUSE to call you back!!! The woman NEVER calls back!! Lyle will tell you they are a "Family Business", in business since the 1950's, & you'll THINK they are REPUTABLE...until you TRY to move with them...!!!

I booked a move on a Sat. I got it confirmed & spoke to them 4 separate times about it, even calling to "Confirm", several times. EACH time, was told I was definitely "All Set"...then...I INexplicably, started getting msgs., from "Lyle", stating my move was "All set, for "MONDAY"...????!!!

I called, only to get VOICE MAIL, EVERY time, & left many msgs., stating my move was on a SAT., NOT a Monday, & already CONFIRMED...then, a woman left me a msg., stating my move was on a FRIDAY!!! She said that she does all the paperwork!! I called & FINALLY got her, & she said they were all booked up for Sat., now, & she kept asking IF I could move on another day!!!

I explained how that was impossible, & NEEDED it to be on Sat., & that I had already confirmed this w/Lyle, MANY times...Lyle finally called me back & said that I WAS all set for Sat.!!!

Got another msg., about being all set, for FRIDAY!!! Called again!! The woman said "Lyle's been sick, so he may have mixed up the dates." I asked IF he'd been sick, COULD he make this move?? She assured me he was NOT the one making the move, & OK, I was all set, for SAT. I kept them, as now, I was only 4 days from my move, & NEEDED them, but I was WORRIED...

NEXT day, I got ONE, short, curt msg. from LYLE, saying they were CANCELLING...quoting INCORRECT information, supposedly from me, about our last phone conversation!!!

Now, only 3 days from my move, & with NO movers, I was DESPARATE, & called them MANY, MANY times, eventually BEGGING them to AT LEAST CALL ME BACK, to CORRECT the wrong information!!! Also, gave them the RIGHT information!!!

I HAVE NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN!!! HAD TO CHANGE THE DAY OF MY MOVE...AT GREAT EXPENSE!!! LEFT THEM A MSG., THAT I STILL WISHED TO SPEAK TO THEM, OR I'D POST MY EXPERIENCE ONLINE...STILL, HAVE NEVER HEARD FROM THEM...!!!

DO NOT use this moving company!!! They are HORRIBLE!!! They will leave you STRANDED, at the LAST minute, & just "Drop out of sight", & NEVER contact you again, for NO reason, & you'll NEVER hear from them again!!!

Just saw this, everything I said about Lyle's Moving's HORRIBLE service is true!!

Hi.  I can not believe this company even responded with these LIES!!  I apologize that I rarely use this email address anymore, so just saw this.  Enough time has been spent on this already, but just want to point out a few things.  This is the WORST company I have ever done business with!!  NOT A WORD of what he just said, is true!

First, if Lyles Moving, really felt I was making incorrect assertions about his company & "Family Business"...why did he wait 8 full MONTHS...before writing any rebuttal here??  I moved in MARCH!!  He didn't respond, until NOVEMBER!!???  Must have taken a lot of time, to figure out how he was going to attempt to create LIES, to attempt to "Save Face"!!  Who takes 8 MONTHS to say they've been "Wronged??"

Every single word I wrote, is true!! 

Lyle's has a real nerve, saying any of these lies!  What, are they doctors now??  He can say I have "Serious Mental Problems" if he wants, (isn't "Freedom of Speech" nice?), but that doesn't make it true.  I won't dignify it w/much of a response, but I will say that that is not at all true, & that I am a Teacher, & have never seen a mental health professional in my life!!  I doubt I could have graduated from Boston College, obtained my teaching certificate & been a School Teacher for so many years, if his assertations were true!  I have no interest in entering a "He said/She said" game, but Lyle is the one who behaved erratically, & his wife told me HE had been sick!!??

Funny, he's a "Mover" w/a "Family Business", yet he feels he can diagnose "Mental Problems"???  If he were a doctor, he wouldn't be working as a "Mover!!"

First, I never, ever, said I was "Evicted", & I was not!!! I have absolutely NO idea where he came up w/that!  We obviously never discussed that, as it was not true!  One of the few truthful things he said here, is that if I were "Evicted", I'd have known for a long time!  Probably true...but I was not evicted, never have been & never, ever said I was!  I can't believe the depths some people will stoop to, & the lies...why not just do good business, then no one will have experiences like I had w/you, & you won't have to be telling all sorts of lies & fabrications to try to "Cover" yourself! 

I was not moving at the last minute!  I did not call him at the last minute!  His time line here, is completely "Off", like everything else he writes here!  I originally called him nearly 2 weeks in advance!  The "Problem" is that he took so long to get back to me, then, I'd keep getting his wife, when I called, & she kept saying I had to speak to him!!  Also, as I told him, I had some flexibility in my moving date, as my new lease started on Feb. 28th, but I still had my old place, until March 17th, so I was paying for 2 places, for a little over 2 weeks, & wanted to move in slowly, over that time, so I could take my time.  I did say I had not finished packing yet, so did not know how many boxes I'd end up having, but I never said I had "Not started packing yet"!!  I gave him a good estimate.  Many other movers come over to look, prior to the move.  If Lyle wanted an exact number of boxes, he could have done that!

Every word I originally wrote, was TRUE!!  The only other "Truth" this man wrote in his rebuttal, was that I asked if they took personal checks...ONCE!!  I have no idea why he's making it seem like a big deal?  My ONE question about them was "What do you take for payment, Cash? Credit Card? Check?"  That was ALL!!  Never mentioned checks a 2nd time! 

I have no idea what or why he is writing anything about "Lawyers" or my Landlord??  I never had any lawyer, never mentioned that I had, & my former Landlord is very nice. I just moved to a nicer place, in a better location for me, w/many more amenities!!?? I also, never mentioned that I was "real happy" that they were a family business, either! He & his wife just repeatedly told me that they were!

If they "decided immediately" that they were not going to move me, as Lyle writes here, then why did they "String me along", for so long?  If they had told me at the beginning, then I would not have spent weeks, playing "Phone Tag" w/them!  Also, if they were not going to move me, why did they BOOK A MOVING DATE & TIME W/ME? They are "Game Players!!"  They just did not like that I did not want to change the date & time of my move, as they had gotten it wrong, then tried to book me into a different time & date, & get me to accept it!  They wanted to move me during the week!  I told them I couldn't do that, as I work, & had set a weekend date w/them, which they, INexplicably, just tried to "Change"...at the last minute!!  They were the ones doing things at the "Last Minute", not me!  I called them, and set a date, in advance!  They did not keep that appointment, & blame me...for not wanting a different date & time???

Contrary to his assertion, I have never, ever, failed to pay my rent, nor have I ever paid my rent even one day late, anywhere that I've lived!  Nor have I ever been a "Problem Tenant", either!  My prior Landlord's would back that up!  I love how Lyle attempts to make false assertions, just to try to "Save Face"!!  And, his assertion that I may be moving "In the middle of hte night??"  Apparently, he can't tell time, either!  As, I had booked his company, & he had CONFIRMED, that my move was in the morning...on a weekend, in "Plain Daylight!!" Have no idea why he's lying like this!

His wife never called me back "immediately", either, nor did he??  Everything w/this company, took repeated phone calls, a very long time, & most of my calls were not returned.  However, after booking & CONFIRMING a move date w/me, he feels it's OK, to have his wife, call & leave me a MESSAGE, just cancelling it?? For NO reason??  Again...I was NOT being "Evicted", & had obviously, never said I was!!

As to his "Not being able to move me within 1/2 hour of my call??  I guess this guy is delusional, in addition to his own wife's assertion that he'd "not been well, he's been sick"!!  I called him close to 2 weeks prior to my move, & he gave me HIS available dates & times, & I chose one of them!!  He just inexplicably CANCELLED it, at "The Last Minute"...leaving me stranded!

I was certainly not wanting to "Bully" them into moving me, as he writes!!  Funny, I thought when we set a moving date & a moving time, & they had confirmed it, that it was a "Done Deal".  Guess I was the "Stupid" one on that, huh??  Expecting this "Businessman", to keep a business deal/appt., ...what a strange idea??  Yes, I called him several times after that, asking why HE was cancelling on ME, at the "Last Minute", leaving me stuck?!  Yes, he never returned a single call...GREAT way to do business!!  Treat your customers like dirt!! 

The rest is all more lies & fabrications on Lyle's part.  I did manage to find another moving company, & I am so glad I did!  They were wonderful, & I gave them a huge tip, as I was so happy I did not have to deal with Lyle's anymore! 

Do yourselves a favor, & NEVER call this company, or do ANY business w/them!!  Learn from my bad experience w/them!!  He says he "Learns from his mistakes??"  He apparently hasn't "Learned" much...except to create lies & false assertations to make up for his poor service & inexplicable behavior!!

EVICTED LADY WE DID NOT EVEN MOVE HAS SERIOUS MENTAL PROBLEMS

First off, I can not believe this lady was even allowed to write this report, as we DID NOT EVEN MOVE HER!

Sorry to say but this lady  has a very serious mental problem. She called us on  Monday evening to get a quote. Gave her quote and told her our payment terms.

Not once, not twice, but at least 4-5 times she kept on making a big fuss over why we would not take a personal check.  Wanted to move that Saturday. My wife and partner overheard this conversation, as I said that she would call her the next day to get her information. This was about 8 pm.

My wife called her back and asked her the usual questions concerning a move and when she asked her about how many boxes would she have, she said she did not know as she had not started packing yet.

She then also made remarks about taking a personal check again and then said she was being EVICTED!  She had to know at least weeks before she was being evicted yet waits till the last minute to book a mover?

She went on to tell about lawyers and her landlord and such and that she did not know if she would even have the money to pay for someone who was going to pack her stuff.  Yes, she was real happy we were a family business, in my opinion to take advantage of us.

After getting off the phone, my wife repeated everything this lady had said and we decided immediately we were not going to move her. We do not do evictions, because of the puc policy and the legal ramifications this can cause by people moving out in the middle of the night, so t to speak. That is why per PUC law, we can not start a job after a certain time. And, if she is getting evicted, it is usually cause that person has not paid their rent or have been a problem tenant.

My wife called her back immediately and got a machine and told her we do not do evictions and therefore would not be able to move her period.

We did not getting any dates mixed up, and we told her we would not be able to move her within a 1/2 hour of her call.That was the last time we spoke to her, ever.

She must have called us, about 5 or more times everyday and yes, we did not return her calls as we had already told her we would not move her, but I guess she thought she could bully us into it. 

I let that happen to me once before and it was hell and I do learn from my mistakes.We never spoke to her again so I can tell you she really has a SERIOUS problem.

All I can say is that everything she wrote are all lies and fabrications.

She has a serious mental problem, that I am sure of after listening to her rambling messages that were indeed harassment, and by the lies she tells in this report. I can see why she was being evicted.

Thank goodness we did not move her and I  feel sorry for who ever did.
