I went to Macco because I wanted security in knowing the job would be done by professionals that were insured, especially by the Macco name.  My husband hit a few trees driving home when it started to snow last year.  The car was totalled out and we bought it back because it was just body damage.  We went to find out how much it would cost to repair the one head light on the car to pass inspection.  They said they could jimmy it up to get us to pass and also gave us a quote on how much it would fix it so that everything would lay in nicely with the hood and side panel.  Then they also added paint on it as well.  After my car was totalled its probably worth $2,000.00 even with everything looking fine body wise.  I just wated it to be street legal and get me from point A to point B without any issues.

They "fixed" the light and I went on my way in the day time.  A week and a half day light savings time began and it got dark at 5:30 as I am headed home from work.  I noticed that I could not see the road in front of me.  The head light was pushed so far down I was driving in darkness.  I was planning on taking it back to get it fixed for the remaining amount minus the paint job ($600-$900) about a month later.  I had my husband call because he is less furious on the phone than me.  He pretty much relayed to me, "Brad said we should have known the head lamp would do that, and that we would have to come in and get the rest of it fixed for it to work."  I called back and said you need to fix it so that it is safe for me to drive at night.  Unbenounced to them, I did not tell them my inside dash light no longer worked the day I got my car back and I had a guy on the road tell me my back lights weren't working either.  Brad "allowed" us to come back to jimmy the head light so that is it safe to drive until we have money to fix the rest of the vehicle.  We explained to them about the lights and he said we don't mess with that but we will take a look.

They jimmied a 2x4 under the headlight and could not find a resoning to why my car's lights would not come on.  I went to two different body shops to try and figure out what may be wrong.  I was refered to a guy that does more electrical work to help me figure this out.  After he tinkered with it for 2 hours he found out the spark plug or what not was not in the right place.  So he switched them back to where they belonged.  After a $100 bill from that guy I thought I would call Macco to see if I had a right to call and ask Brad to pay for it.  Since I don't know jack sh8t about cars and I don't even have a clue where spark plugs or what not even is on my car, therefore I wouldn't know how to put in back in the wrong spot.

After leaving a report to Macco they said it had to go to corporate and they will call me later.  I wanted a quick yes or no answer on the phone and I got the blow off.

4 days later a lady from Macco called with an attitude.  Told me it was my responsibility and that Macco called Brad and Brad explained they don't do that type of work on cars so they didn't do it. Serisoulsy?  So I guess the car ghost got into my vehicle while it was at Macco and switched the plugs around as a joke.  Ha. Ha.  The lady with an attitude told me we can three way Brad on the phone for an explination like I'm some freakin child or something.  They made me feel like I should feel like an idiot.  I have more schooling than all the men in that place have combined.  We can even through the lady from Macco into the intellegence pile too.  I must be an idiot.

I was actually planning on making an appointment to get the rest of it fixed that week. But when that lady called and I had to deal with that, I felt giving my business to them again wouldn't be worth it since I didn't get a credit for a measly $100.  Does that make since?  Id credit me $100 if I were about to spend $900 in body work.

And by the way, my headlights stick straight up.  I can see the tops of trees at night like never before!!!  Thanks retards!
