I'm a consumer, just trying to make sure I"m not being taken advantage of, also taking appropriate steps to ensure that when I do conduct business that it is accurate so I can avoid misunderstandings.  What can I say here? 

This person was never charged anything.  We declined to do an order, because he was too difficult to deal with. 

It's strange how facts get so misconstrued, depending on who is responding; however, in response to this merchants last post, Please note I only left one verbal message and let the email chain below speak for itself, also I never said I would return the plate if it was made correctly.

Sorry you feel this way, I would still like to proceed since you have already done the leg work.  I have compulsive obsessive disorder that just simply drives me to check, recheck and triple check everything, sorry this offended you.   If you change your mind and can accept my apology, I would still like to proceed.

I did make a request for a more immediate contact.  But this is okay, I will wait to hear Monday.  Still scratching my head on this one.  I wanted to verify that it will indeed be 2 x 4  and the serial number, year and plan no. would be either stamped or engraved and that you had the correct information.  But hey, if you think you got it figured out and dont mind refunding it back to me if its incorrect, who am I to question it?

Okay, I told you wrong on the dimensions, it is 2 x 4, not 3x4.
 Sorry about that.
 Looking forward to seeing the proof.
 Do you need clarification of the the S/N  & year?  If so it is:
 1312S506  and 73 and 9946
 Note the S between 1212 and 506

A single plate with layout, printing and engraving is $XX.00.
 
I cant tell from your picture, but that plate may be etched. If it is the text would be raised up on the plate.  We could not offer that to you.
 
We may not be able to match the script font on the plate, but Im sure we could come fairly close.

What would it cost me to have a replacement data plate made like the attached 3 x 4 Aluminum

This person ordered a plate, approved a proof, and then left a message while I was out to call him.  By the time I recieved message, he had left two more, and sent several emails regarding a single plate that he had already approved a proof on.  The last email state he would simply return the plate when he recieved it.  Since there was no chance he was going to accept the item, by his own email, I canceled the order.  He was never charged for anything, and lost no money.
