Macys.com Macy's Department Store I purchased a bathing suit onnline at Macys.com for 165.00. I returned the bathing suit within the allotted time frame. I received an email stating my return was in progress. Three weeks later I received a GIFT CARD in the mail, not a refund to my credit card. internet Nationwide
Macys.com is now issuing gift cards instead of credit card refunds when you return an item purchased online. This is an absolute disgrace. They give no notice to the consumer.One just recieves a gift card in the mail. They do this because consumers lose gift cards, forget they have them, or don't know how to use them. Then what happens? Macy's gets to keep the money.
This should be illegal.
