Blake gave us the Mad Dog address as the pick up location for our truck.  The name of the contact person is Michelle.  Michelle started off answering her phone and acting as if she was preparing a truck for us to pick up.  She let slip that she had "about 20 of the Izzy Groups trucks". I believe that they are somehow crooked and connected to the Global Leasing/American Truck Leasing crooks.

When the truck was supposedly "ready" to pick up, all of a sudden Michelle said that Blake had not released the truck to be picked up.  When asked what needed to be done, without being specific she said that Blake would have to send "it".  Blake said that Mr. Lance had to contact Mad Dogand then they stopped answering the phones.

After about two weeks of calls, Michelle has stopped being available to come to the phone.  She is either not there or she's gone to the bank or she's at lunch.  Patsy, the receptionist usually answers the phone.

MAD DOG CLOSED - THANKS TO RANDY LANCE

AUTHOR: Another Victim - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, October 01, 2013

Mad Dog has had to close the doors, thanks to non-payment by American Truck Leasing.  They were a small company, and could not afford to extend $10,000-$15,000 credit forever.  Thats basically like loaning money to someone, interest free.

This information could not be reported here when the initial complaint was filed in January because she was still hoping and praying that she would get paid for the trucks that were repaired, and didn't want to say anything here that might jeopardize that.    One of the trucks repaired that was never paid for was the one that these people in this complaint were promised.  She would not release it until American Leasing paid their bill, but she was professional enough not to come right out and say that to American Truck Leasing's customer.    Thats why she said Blake needed to send "it".   She still has not been paid.  So no, she was not in cahoots with them, she was a victim, just like all the rest.

MAD DOG IS NOT A PART OF THIS

AUTHOR: Michelle Collins - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 16, 2013

I have the exact same address and phone number that you do for contact information.  As for the oil sample, you called the morning of Jan 3, 2013.  We did not have the results of the oil sample at that time, but as I told you before the holidays, we were expecting it at any time.  During the day, Jan 3rd, we did receive the results, and made the appropriate repairs to the truck, as I told your husband that afternoon. So since Jan 3,  I have told you every time you have called, your truck has been repaired, and thats all the information I have.  I have no control over Global Leasing, their personnel or anything else in their office.  I feel that we HAVE done "the right thing" - we repaired the truck, correctly.  Whatever the problem is, is between you and them.  Not you and us.

MAD DOG IS NOT PART OF THIS

I have the exact same address and contact information that you already have.  When you called on the morning of January 3rd, you were told the oil sample results had not come in.  During the day, the results were received.  The appropriate repairs were made to the truck, and when your husband called that afternoon, he was told the truck repairs were complete.  I am sorry for the problems you are having and you both have been extremely nice on the phone, but I cannot help you.  I have told you both, since January 3rd, the truck has been repaired.  That is all the involvement Mad Dog has in this, we did repairs for a customer.

Do the right thing...

AUTHOR: Deborah - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 16, 2013

Since so many people are looking for these people as a result of being ripped off, you should do the right thing and turn their contact information over to the authorities.  They have taken advantage of people and taken money from many people--many more than have taken the time to file reports.

You are either a part of the problem or you're a part of the solution.

And just for the record, we have NOT called you everyday!  The first time I called you-on or about December 27, 22012- you told me the oil test had not come back yet.  When I told you that was the same story we had been hearing from Blake for two weeks, you said to call you back after the (New Year) holiday.  When I called you back on Wednesday January 3, 2013, Patsy said the test was not back, when my husband called he was told the test was back.  So you are not recounting the events exactly as they unfolded.

Again, if you are not a part of the solution you are a part of the problem!

MAD DOG IS NOT A PART OF THIS

AUTHOR: Michelle Collins - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 16, 2013

I am the owner of Mad Dog Truck, Trailer & Hydraulics.  We pride ourselves on doing quality work for all of our customers.  We have a wide customer base in the Middle Georgia area.  Global Leasing is merely one of our customers.  I have informed the filers of this complaint several weeks ago that the truck has been repaired.  I am waiting on Global Leasing to release this truck.    I have no obligation to the "Lessors" of this truck whatsoever; however, as a courtesy I have spoken with them many times in regards to the truck at our shop.  I have nothing to do with the advertising of, leasing, purchasing, selling, negotiating,  paperwork, etc. having to do with this truck.  We are only a repair facility, which I personally and individually own.    The filers of the complaint have called our office daily, sometimes more than once a day.  I have told them the truck was repaired, every single time.   I have nothing new to report to them.  I have repeatedly asked them to call Global Leasing, that there is nothing further that I can do.  We are a small company and I do not have a call center.  Patsy, that answers our phone, tells the filers of this complaint, the exact same thing that I do: The truck is repaired.  We are waiting on Global Leasing in order to release this truck.  I have no control, influence, ownership, or anything else in regards to Global Leasing.
