Magic Jack-Too Slow to Start

I have been a magic jack user for over a year and have had nothing but excellent service with the product. Every time I turn my computer off; I need to restart my magic jack, but it only take a moment to do that and I am back in service.

My magic jack has saved me a large amount of money. My wife is from the Philippines, and she talks with her family daily using magic jack at no cost. We sent them a magic jack and it works perfectly as any other local call.

Anyone having problems with this product; may have an equipment problem not a magic jack problem. You can contact me if you like and I will elaborate; otherwise I would suggest you contact magic jack's customer service and find that they can be very helpful with any problem.

Again, I am not associated with magic jack except as a customer, and I must say a very satisfied customer. I see other people with products trying to provide the same or similiar service for a monthly fee, and I can't understand why anyone would prefer a monthly fee product over a one time fee as magic jack; and I must say very cheap.

I have told all of my friends and family about magic jack and to my surprise they were totally unaware of the product. It is a splendid product and has changed the way we make phone calls. Thank you for letting me express my feelings and appreciation for an excellent product.

PLEASE DON'T LISTEN TO THESE DUMB FOLKS.  I have 10 years of hassel free, no interuptions, no solicitors, no complaints.  These guys are NOVICE USERS FOR REAL.  This is 5th grade technology, and very simple process, therefore don't try to get something for free, that is already BASICALLY FREE to begin with. This is far better than any other phone service i've ever had.  They keep their word, and stand by the product.  Sure everything in life is faulty at some point, meaning not every product is fail safe.  He**, when i was in grade school mom bought me a mattel handheld baseball game which did not work properly. It was defected.  I just exchange it for one that worked, basic customer support.  Magicjack is the same way, i've seen it happen with a friend.  These complainers are the same people who will complain if their kid is not getting enough playing time in sports, or enough recognition when we all know the kid sucks.

Magicjack starts slowly

Magicjack takes less than a minute to start for me, most people have old computers that has a lot of things starting up upon powering on the pc, so upgrade your computer to current technology and that problem will go away. I have never had a problem with magicjack what so ever. I have saved about $2000 with this device, so I can't complain. Most problems MJ customers have are with their computer and not the device.

Magic Jack stinks

My mother-in-law recently switched her phone service over to Magic Jack.

It works about as well as those big, bulky car phones from the early 90's.

Apparently there's a reason why it only costs $1.70 per month.
