magicJack Magic Jack Don't pay for the extended 5 year service! The physical device did not last for the time period and they want me to buy a new one. Nationwide
A word of advice. Don't pay for the extended service of 5 years. I did and 2.5 years in, the device is now defective and Majic Jack wants me to buy a new one. I was told "According to the terms of service, you only have a one year warranty." I politely suggested that I paid for a service that is not being provided so I would either like a new device that works that I don't have to pay additional for or I would like to be credited back for the remaining period that they will not be providing the service. The individual I spoke with said he will transfer me to customer service, however that was not an option on the phone menu that he switched me to. When searching online, it appears magic jack does not offer customer service over the phone but does through a chat room. Don't make the same mistake I did.
