Mail.com Extortion - holding email accounts ransom for Credit Card info - 7 years after the fact!!!! Internet

Back around 2000 I setup 2 email accounts with Mail.com  To get rid of the endless up up ads I paid $9.95 a year for a while.  Then in 2005 I cancelled 'Premium Billing' / 'no ads service'.   All was OK. Now in 2013 the animals at Mail.com demand updated credit card info for a service I cancelled more then 7 years ago!!!  They then state they will freeze me out of my emails (2 accounts).

So I took lots of Screen Captures of what they were doing and forwarded important personal emails.  They demand that I must produce the cancellation notices from more then 7 years ago or they will close my accounts and erase all emails!  They claim email accounts are free to get you to sign up, (you just have to put up with ads all the time) then they squeeze you for CC info, once you give in, they extort money from you year after year!  What a**holes.

God knows how they will rip-off people who set up websites with them. You invest all the work on a site, then they jack you over!  This morning I checked my other unrelated free email accounts on Mail.com and they are gone too!!! They are closing 10s of thousands of email accounts and ripping us ALL off!!  Their actions would clearly violate the intention of the VISA Card Merchant Agreement!!    These guys need to go to jail for extortion!!! 

Do you think Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail would pull this sh*t? - NO!   -  Only Mail.com!!
