I got ripped off and when I called back in March, they told me "an administrator would be calling me within the next 30 days. (I added it up and it would be over my 60 day time limit to get my money back). I got sick and I couldnt get to the bank to get my money returned. I was told today by the bank that the Federal Reserve probably wouldnt get my money back because I had waited so long. I called the WV Attorney General and I received the paper to fill out. I got them out in the mail today. I searched for the phone number and found the toll free, well you cant call from out of state. I guess I will write them a long letter. I think all of us needs to find a lawyer who will sue these people for scamming us. I called Providian to let them know the scam this company is telling us. She acted like she didnt care at first. She also acted like I wanted them to refund my money. I said no, Im letting you know what they are telling the people when they call us to scam us.

The lady at the bank has been very helpful. She said they guy she contacted at the Federal Reserve would forward it onto his supervisor and they would try to help me. DO NOT WAIT MORE THAN 60 DAYS to get your money back. I emailed all the news stations in my area to let them know what is going on. I hope it goes national and they get put of business. (They will probably go under a different name and leave to go to a different state).

I hope this helps somebody. I thought I asked all the right questions. Guess not!

Majestic Benefits

AUTHOR: Art - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, June 03, 2005

Just to let everybody know, I was ripped off by Majestic Benefits on 02/09/05 and I called them as soon as I get my "credit card package" demanding my money back stating they lied to me on the phone. They never did say it was a "store value credit card". Well I contacted my state attorney general office and the NY state attorney office, well I received my letter 06/03/05 and they said per their quote, "As we offer a 60 day refund policy, any consumer requesting same is refunded, no questions asked. Therefore, please note, a full refund was processed on May 31 and funds should have been credited to Mr. Johnson's account within 7 business days."

I called the bank, the money was in my account on 06/01/05. I hope everybody else gets their money back also. Just do what I did and threaten them with a lawsuit. It means making copies of your bank/credit card statement, any paperwork you have on them. It was well worth .15 for 4 copies of everything I had. (I sent the package back certified mail.)

Good luck everybody!!
