Malibu Trust Company I Was Ripped Off! Rip-off! Santa Rosa California

I was reading all of the other reports about this company, and I am sorry to say that I am a victim too. I was contacted by Dian Bell at the end of November about being approved for a 12,000 loan. I was told that I could get a cosigner or send them money for basic insurance. So I opted to send them the $857.22 along with a fee of $67.00.

I sent the money away on a friday and was told that my account would be set up on the following monday and I would have the money in 24-48 hours. I spoke with Dian on tuesday she assured me the money would be there. Finally on thursday I got ahold of and spoke with a customer service agent. She told me that the loan could not be approved with amount of insurance I had sent them. The insurance company would not approve it. I told them I wanted my money back. That was on 12/10/04. I have yet to recieve my money back.

What I think is funny about all of these reports is we all had to send money to different places. I sent mine to Barry Summers in Toronto, Ontario in Canada. If anyone finds out any way to get our money back please contact me.
