Mangia Italian Restaurant False advertising Hazel Green Alabama

Mangia Italian Restaurant claims to be serving authentic Italian food but they are not. They are taking advantage of people who do not know the difference in Italian food.

One particular dish that they serve is calzones. On their menu they advertise calzones but they charge extra to add ricotta cheese to the calzone.

The main ingredient in a calzone is ricotta cheese. 

A correct calzone recipe includes ricotta cheese already. There should be no extra charge for something that is already supposed to be included in the dish.

They are basically selling a calzone without the main ingredient and then charging extra for the ricotta cheese. 

I have spoken with the owner and he told me, and I quote "These people around here don't know the difference so we don't include ricotta cheese in our calzones."  

I take offense to this because he is basically calling me stupid. I know the difference between a calzone and a stromboli. 

A calzone is made with ricotta cheese and a stromboli does not. 

This needs to be corrected.
