Greg Makozy & Maria Makozy were served with a Subpoena and then a Court Order to appear at a deposition for the case. They were ordered to bring their Financial Records for A1 Mortgage.

The Court Order & the Subpoena were Ignored by Mr Makozy / Mrs Makozy was required to appear because she is named in the law suit.

A Butler County Judge issued a court order to Mr Greg Makozy and he chose to ignore it. He also ignored the subpoena. Is there something that the company needs to hide from the Court and my Attorney ? How can the owners of a local Mortgage Company get away with ignoring a court order ? Maybe its just a matter of time and the Court will see fit to force Mr Makozy and Mrs Makozy to appear. I read that the Judge has the authority to jail a person if they fail to comply with a court order.

All I want is what the Jury Awarded me and my Attorney. I could never ignore an order from a Judge but then Im a law abiding citizen.

The clock is ticking on the money Im owed / A1 Mortgage is required to pay interest on the money they owe me & my Attorney.

One more reason to / Not Use A1 Mortgage Corp for your next mortgage loan. There are plenty of other Mortgage Brokers and Banks in the area that you can use. Apperently Mr & Mrs Makozy pay no attention to the Law & the Court system.

After a motions hearing in the Butler County Court of Common Pleas Greg Makozy had instructed his Attorney to tell me and my Attorney that he would offer to pay us $25,000. After 5 years of hearings & depositions I was not willing to take the offer. The jury awarded me over $50,000 to cover my Attorney fees and to pay me the money I was owed. Mr Makozy told the attorney for A1 Mortgage that Mr Makozy would go to South America to avoid paying the money that is owed to me. My Attorney replied " we have plenty of time and we can wait but we wont take less than what we were awarded ". If I took the $25,000 offer A1 Mortgage would win and I didnt go to Court and fight for 5 years to settle for less than what the jury ordered A1 Mortgage to pay me. Its not just about money. The system did its job and now its time for A1 Mortgage and Maria Makozy to pay the money they owe me and my Attorney. Mr Makozy running to hide in South America says a lot about how he intends on not obeying the law. This is the same guy that took his parents to court and wanted them to pay him money. What is going on at A1 Mortgage in Cranberry Twp Pennsylvania ?

In November of 2008 the husband of Maria Makozy / Greg Makozy had the Title Company that was owned by Maria transfered into his name. The Title Company was under the name Maria Makozy and is now under the name of Gregory Makozy according to State Documents. This transfer or name change was done after the verdict. The Mortgage Company also went through a name change, Greg Makozy was added as the owner of A1 Mortgage Company. As of 1/30/2009 the State of PA still has both Mortgage Companies registered.

Assurance Settlement Services had been under the name of Maria Makozy but after the Verdict, Gregory Makozy was named as the owner of Assurance Settlement.

Keep in mind: The Jury ordered Maria Makozy & A1 Mortgage to pay the award. Now Maria Makozy has had her name removed as owner of both companies that she had owned prior to the Trial. Gregory Makozy is now the owner.
