According to well placed sources, Mark Birnbaum and his nightclub/restaurant company the EMM group LLC, which is the owner of SL, Catch, Finale, Abe & Arthurs, STK, Tenjune, Chandelier Room, and other NYC Meatpacking District venues, is currently being investigated by the New York State Division of Human Rights, the EEOC, the NY Department of Labor, and the US Department of Justice for racist door policies and unlawfully discriminating against dark skinned racial minorities and people over the age of 35.
