This lawyer sued me in in San Joaquin Superior Court and according to the proof of service, he had me served at a previous rental I use to own in Freso County. I have never, ever lived in San Joaquin County and the debt was never incurred in that county either. This attorney sued me over 150 miles from where I live and got a judgment and he tried to garnish my wages.
So this is how he collects on outdated claims that are barred by the statute of limitations! The judgment sneks up on you and if you don't know your rights, well this means money in his pocket! California State Bar has done nothing about about his lack of ethics but an attorney in San Diego (Hyde & Swigart) have taken this jerk on and won.
If you find out he got a judgment on you, make sure you purchase a copy of the complaint from the court and the proof of service. Challenge the process server because they appear to be playing along with this lawyer and creating false information to the courts. Contact an attorney first! If they have hit your wages, file a claim of exemption and contact an attorney. This guy does not do anything by the books. This jerk thinks he is above the law!
