Utah based RBM Building Maintenance or RBM Building Services use kickback and bribery to retain building maintenance contracts and to drive out the compettition.

Here are some examples of how kickbacks have propelled RBM Building Services from a garage business to multi-million dollar janitorial business in the state of Utah:

1- Religious Connections:  The company uses its Religious Connections to bypass all formal process.  RBM's owners is the a Missionary Leader, who used his influence to position his son (RBM's Owner) to directly deal with Property Managers.  While this is news to anyone, such cheating practices are not conducive with church going members.  It is always good to have connections, but what a shame to RBM Building Services Management.

2- Kickbacks and Bribery: The company has used its religious connections to bypass all the requirements and mandatory compliance during bidding process while connecting with Decision Making Manager to retain contracts and offering huge Kickbacks (when swiftly asked) and Bribery (when they want to get the contract).

As an example, about 1 1/2 year ago, Station Park is a mall located in Farmington, Utah invited many local companies for a mandatory walk through prior to bidding.  The rule was that if you were not at the meeting and participating at the mandatory walk through you could not bid.  RBM was not present at the time. During personal negotiations with the "Management" it was alluded that the company to whom the contract would be awarded to would have to allow for some kickbacks.

Based on the bidding process, I would estimate kickbacks were in the order of about 15% of the total amount of the contract on a monthly basis.  At that time, the amount was around $2000 a month for only 1/4 of the property.  The remaining 3/4 of the property was under construction, but the contract would be extended to the other 3/4 of the property once construction was done.  Based on the initial contract it is safe to assume that more than $8000 is being paid undercover to be divided between Station Park's "Management."  This contract with RBM Building Maintenance is just one of many of the kickbacks Station Park Managers get in Farmington.

3- Tax Evasion:  It is inconceivable that a company can write-up $8000 a month as "consulting fees" and not be flagged for tax evasion.  Now, this is just 1 of many other contracts RBM Building Maintenance has retained in the state of Utah.  Given their modus operandi, it would be safe to assume that there are a lot of other contracts that were and will be retained under the same circunstances.  What a shame, RBM!

4- Quality of Services: When you compare RBM's services with other companies, you will see there their quality is something that lags behind the competition, which proves the benefits of their connections, briberies and kickbacks.

The fact is that when RBM Building Services is involved in any bidding process, there isn't anyone who will be awarded the contract but RBM.  Not even JaniKing, BearCom, or Vanguard in Utah.
