I had a contract with Market Place Homes on 2011 to lease my old home up to 6 years. I signed online contract and didn't get paper copy of contract. My contract with them for $1900/yr and they reduced my rent to $1650 one year after although the tenant did not change. They did not advertise for my home in the beginning. I have to post their sign in front yard by myself. I
sent the photos of my home and they did not inspect my home. They supposed to do mowing for the grass and shovel the snow per the contract term but they did not. After all I brought the tenant who is my co-worker. The tenant was
qualified by market place. The tenant asked me to replace the washer not to fix it. I paid $150 and informed Market Place. The tenant was evicted Mar 2013 due to late payment. The tenant painted the home sloppy and stained the cabinet and
the carpet. Market place estimated $3000 for repair cleaning and indicated they will reimburse for $1000 only. Market Place has taken the paint cans, furniture, light fixtures, portrait and other stuff which were left over from evicted tenant without telling me that. They took as well some of my old furniture, spare bricks and wood lumbers. Market Place denied to me that they took this stuff. I called the police and they changed their statement. They said during investigation that they did that as part of house clean up. They lied to the authority. If they honest they should have informed me of this act and be pro-active on clean up the home. This business takes every opportunity to rib off their customers.

I cautioned any one to deal with them. Their business should be closed due to their unethical practices. They told me I can do the fix myself and may be reimbursed for $1000. I do not trust them any more. They over estimated the fix for $3000. Although they told me to fix the damage and pay me later up to $1000. I do not trust them. They refused to question the tenant about $150 to replace the dish washer which has never happened. They are untrustworthy. It is their responsibility
