i responded to an ad offering a free dvd for shipping cost only ($7.95).

after i signed up, it took me to a page where it described two other subscriptions that i had been automatically subscribed to.

the first was to the RBG Magazine at $39.95 per month, the second was to the DVD of the Month at $35 per month.
the free dvd arrived but there was no contact information anywhere in the shipment, only two dvd's and a magazine with no contact indformation whatsoever in it.
i am now appalled that charges for these ogoing subscriptions will be made to my credit card during February 2008.

i have tried to email MarksEnterprise to cancel everything but the emails all bounce.

i submitted a contact form at the MarksEnterprise support page but it may or may not have gone through.
it is possible or probable that i will be charged the monthly subscription fees in February.

i have talked to my credit card people and we are prepared to dispute/reverse these charges if i continue to receive the monthly magazine and dvd.

there is no way to contact MarksEnterprise, that i have fount, and unless my support ticket functions correctly which i doubt, then i will be getting multiple unauthorized charges to my credit card.

i have never seen such a business as MarksEnterprize and i hope they are brought to justice soon.

subscriptions cancelled

ok i received this email from MarksEnterprise customer support:

"Per your request your subscription has been cancelled, please keep this email for your records as proof of cancellation."

so it was my mistake in not using the proper email address to contact MarksEnterprise.
my apologies to MarksEnterprise. they appear to be an actual businesss that responds to their customers.
i wish they had not signed me up to these extra subscriptions without my permission in the first place, but they did respond to my cancellation request, so all is forgiven. i just hope they cancelled both subscriptions in question.

i will keep everyone updated.
the last email i sent has not bounced yet, so perhaps there is a customer service at MarksEnterprise after all. i will keep you posted.
the customer support email address was posted at the bottom of my order receipt, so perhaps i have been unjustly hasty in condemning MarkEnterprise, but never have i seen a company so difficult to contact, or that signed me up for products that i had not even known about.
