The landlords have a property at 680 Hull Ave in Lewisburg, TN  37091 that they claim to their mortgage company is their primary residence.  The residence had water damage on our move in day and it took weeks to get that taken care of.  We lived in the property for 3 months and asked for the HVAC to be repaired, the ceiling and carpet damage to be repaired after the water leaks to no avail.  We were told they did not have the money to pay the mortgage or to make repairs and refused to make any accomodations.  They brag about rescuing animals, but we have suffered during the heat and now the house is full of black mold!  We refused to pay the August rent unless repairs were taken care of, legal recourse in TN, they asked us to move out and gave us a 14 day timeframe.  We were already searching for a new place to live and ready to move within 3 days of the notice, but sad that we had to fight so hard to get basic repairs made before they turned to major damage.
