This refers to Maryland Men’s Medical Clinic
Dr. Bo ZawWin, Dr. Steven D. Macht, Chuck Spencer, Chris Rose & Jeremy

8555 16th Street, Suite 750, Silver Spring, MD  20910
301-755-6522.

They are one of several clinics with the main office headquartered in Florida. They advertise in newspapers, online, http://mensmedicalclinic.com/maryland/, and on TV claiming to treat erectile dysfunction (ED).

Their ads state that if as a result of the medication applied during the first visit there are no results, there is no charge for that visit and consultation.

During my initial visit, the results, such as they were, were barely noticeable and were followed by pain and discomfort. I was told this was normal in that I was given only a partial dose, it was the first time and by following the regimen, results would be far more dramatic.

The visit, totaling two hours or so, consisted of a chat with one Dr. Macht who administered an ultra-sound,  I was deemed a good candidate. He then proceeded to prescribe the medication based on several factors consisting of my physical make up and health history.  So I was told.

The actual regimen involves an injector which almost painlessly delivers a syringe w/needle into the p***s.  The first was administered by one of the male nurses, as they claimed they were.

The next step was a consultation with Chuck Spencer. I don’t know his title, but he was the one who delivered the sales pitch explaining why this method is superior to pills such as Cialis and Viagra because it goes straight to the source. And that I also needed a special cream to apply to my inner thigh daily.  My Doctor checked the cream and deemed it, “snake oil,” containing ingredients available at any health  food and other stores.

The cost quoted was $4,000 which would include a down payment and monthly payments to Genesis/Bankcard services. Those payments to be about $300 monthly. I told Chuck Spencer I would not obligate to that so he said I could do a six month supply of the meds for $2,000 and then renew. I was also told that after about a year of using this regimen, I would not need any enhancements whatsoever. My Dr. said that such a claim was bogus, and that one of the ingredients, Atropine, could actually be harmful. The other ingredients are, Prostaglandin, Papaverin and Phentolamine

I injected numerous times with mild to zero results, always accompanied by severe pain, discomfort, occasional swelling, bruising and bleeding. When I called and reported this several times, I was given a variety of suggestions and work arounds, many of which were contrary to the video clip they show, http://www.mensclinicvideo.com/, the instruction manual and the teaching at the Clinic.

The last time I used this program, I endured over eight hours of severe pain and again only mild results which was followed by swelling.  There have been no satisfactory results and each attempt, including those at the clinic, has produced discomfort and severe penile and testicular pain often accompanied by burning and stinging.

I’m not interested in whether other men have received satisfactory results or may have not undergone what I have as they claim.  I’m interested in what I experienced.

I visited the clinic twice, made numerous calls trying to get answers and finally in the past two to three weeks left a voice mail, sent letters and several e-mails to the Maryland and Florida clinics with no response.

In fact, an online search has shown many men with the same negative results and resultant pain. Also, I learned that Dr. Kevin Hornsby, who is either or all of founder and CEO, has been banned from prescribing medication.

I paid a deposit of $700 and have made payments totaling $275.00 to Bankcard Services. I am not to be out one cent for something that only did not work at all but that caused considerable pain and discomfort. Of course, I certainly did not expect to be dealing with pain that has been severe and little or no results.  I expect a full refund and release from further obligation.

Based on the foregoing and my personal experience, their entire operation is bogus, misleading, fraudulent and potentially dangerous.
