2 years ago I signed up for a membership with Massage Envy, after the first year the quality of the therapists decreased and I no longer wanted to continue my membership. When I tried to cancel they insisted I come in and sign a cancellation slip and said that my account would be cancelled 60 days from the date I signed the request to cancel. 6 months went by and they started deducting the monthly membership fee from my account. I called and they said that all I had done was freeze my account for 6 months and now the 6 months were up and I was obligated to this agreement. Again, they said I need to come in and sign a cancellation request and 60 days from them the account will be cancelled. Dejavu....this is like a bad penny that keeps turning up. Someone tell me how to make these people go away and cancel my account for good!

Do you know what other employees have told consumers

Dear Employee, you don't know what other employees have told consumers in the past. I have read on line that this is a common problem with your company. You may be doing the right thing, that does not mean others are. I am a business person and do read what I sign and listen, so I am totally offended by your insinuation that I or the general consumer do not read or listen. If it was not for us consumers you would not have a job.

Stop blaming others for your negligence

Pay attention to what you're doing. I'm an employee of massage envy, and I can say that at my location at least, we try our best to make every thing as clear as possible to each client. However, I can't tell you how many phone calls I get every day, simply because someone wasn't paying attention to what we were telling them. We do not try to scam or rip any one off, but it's not the company's or employee's fault if you fail to even be aware enough and responsible enough to read what it is you're signing.
