Massage Envy Manager Ashley who wouldn't give her last name. I haven't been able to cancel my membership account. I have been speaking with Ashley since August 23, 2013 and she continues to tell me she will cancel the account. Maple Grove Minnesota

I have been a member at Massage Envy for nearly three years. In August I had 5 massages that I had credits for and just found that I didn't have time to use them. I was also cutting expenses. I requested to cancel on the phone. I was told I had to come in person to do this. I went in for a massage and asked again. I was asked to sign something a form they provided. At that time I asked how many credit I had and actually scheduled two apts at the same time for my fiance and I. We cam te in for those massages and I was told I couldn't use my credits because I had been in within the last six months with my fiance. I wasn't told this when I scheduled and seriously it felt like payback from asking to cancel my account. I left and called back to say that I had better not be penalized for the massage. Guess what I was't allowed to use a credit but I was penalized two credits for that day. I lost all desire to ever go to massage envy. I had been given grief before about using credits and trying to do them at other locations and it was fees upon fee to transfer, ridiculous. I called Ashely the manager and complained. Ashley said I needed to come back in person to fill out a cancel form or some such thing. I explained that I already had. We spoke for some time about how ridiculous it was and yes, I understood that once I cancelled I had 30 days to use my massages. I again requested to cancel. Ashley said she would allow my verbal. We are now in Sept. I was charged again in Oct and again had words with Ashely who again said she would accept my verbal to cancel.

Today I received a message that I have another massage available. I don't want a massage I want the money taken from me for Sept, Oct and Nov. The fees I have paid for services and a membership I have done everything to cancel. Now I will pay a fee at the bank to block them from my account and take them to small claims court for the three fees they took the two they penalized and wouldn't let me use but sure could take the penalty for. Crappy customer service.
