Match.com Review: Deceptive Billing Practices

This is match.com's review for their billing practices and online dating services. Match.com offers online or internet dating services nationwide. As for the quality of their service, their matching technology is not worth the money. Although they are popular, their technology does a poor job of matching qualified canidates. I was amazed how poor some of the suggestions were.

I was unaware of an auto renewal.

There is no opt of auto renewal for match.com other than to cancel which is entirely misleading. Furthermore, If your using their app, your never technically signed out.  Their customer Sevice is a disgrace. I've never received such an unprofessional and

Unauthorized Charges

I contacted match.com's billing department after learning about an auto renewal. 

We exchanged several emails.

Not only does this company not notify a charge went thru, they hide these terms. Furthermore, it's entirely unclear during signup. 

If there is an opt out button, I never saw one. 

How Match.com Operate and Work Against You

Match.com is Not Forthcoming On How They Work. You will be opted into an auto renewal. They want your money and will not ne forthcoming about charges to your account.

They do not clearly disclose this where it is visible.

Here Is What I Recommend:

1. Make Sure It's Major Credit Card (easier to dispute)
2. Mark Your Calendar for the Cutoff Date
3. Make Sure to Confirm Cancellation
4. Don't Expect An Email About The Renewal
