match.com Continued to charge after cancellation Internet
I cancelled my 3-month subscription well before my 3-months was up. They asked questions about why cancelling and I answered them. A friend said my profile was no longer visable. I assumed it was cancelled. I was then charged $77.97 for another 3-month subscription without my permission or knowledge. When I called to complain, I was told they have a "no refund policy" and could not do anything about it. I now am paid up for another 3-months and they have cancelled my subscription so I won't be charged again 3 months from now. After asking to speak to someone else (I was furious), that person basically told me the same thing. Stated the most they could do for me was refund me $27 as they would change my order to one month instead of three. So basically, they stole $50 from me and there is nothing I can do about it. I would suggest anyone who uses this site to call and get a confirmation that their account has been cancelled instead of assuming it was taken care of on their website.
