Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

My profile was hacked. While my credit card was refunded they basically didnt call to offer an explanation or offer to give me a free month using a new profile. They told me I would need a court order to find out anything. That is absolutely ridiculous . I would think they would contact me an offer an apology and to set up a new profile and not pay for at least one month

Ridiculous

AUTHOR: Robert - (USA)

What is really ridiculous in this "RipOff" is your entitlement attitude, thinking that somehow you are "owed" something that you are not.  We get it, your account was "hacked". Yes this is bad, but they don't OWE you a single thing.

As for finding out anything about the hack. They are right.  Due to various privacy laws and other regulations they are actually restricted from handing out this information. You will find that there isn't a single company that would give you this information without a court order. You could try to file a police report where they might get this information. But since you are out no money and they have bigger actual crimes to solve it is unlikely they would give your case any more time than it takes for them to tell you to fill out a form and give it back to them for them to file.

But even if you had this information what would you do with it? Spend hours trying to track this person down? Spend 100's(or 1000's) of dollars traveling to where this person(or persons) is?
