MATE1.COM, Alex Trottier = COMPLETE RIPOFF!

DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY NOR DO NOT BECOME A CUSTOMER OR MEMBER OF THEIR SITE! BEWARE, THEY SCAM YOU TO JOIN AND PAY AND TO KEEP YOU PAYING EACH MONTH WITH FRAUDULENT MESSAGES FROM ONLINE AMBASSADORS

WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF AMBASSADOR? "an ambassador of good will"

What is MATE1.COM 's defitionition of their Online Ambassador? To hire women all accross the United States or World and provide them an exciting "work at home" career opportunity where they will spend a few hours a week to lie, cheat, steal, scam, mislead, and fraudulently send messages to members of the Mate1 site who join during the 3 day trial, and make them think they are getting dozens of messages from other girls who are interested in them, but these trial members cannot communicate and respond to these messages unless they pay the $49.95 membership fee. And when you do reply to all these online ambassadors messages, you never hear back from them. They just all send you messages to profit, and get you to pay.

Also, if you are an existing customer and member of MATE1.COM, and your membership expires, you will notice that you will start getting dozens of emails from girls who like you and want to communicate with you, and when you pay, you again never hear from them again.

MATE1.COM IS A COMPLETE FRAUD AND SCAM

I have been a member (paying member) for 8 months now, paying 49.95 x 8 months and so far I have lost a total of $400.

But I cannot even count how many hours I spent on Mate1 the last 8 months, probably some 100 hours total.

Recently, I decided to not use MATE1.COM for a month after my membership expired, but when i went back to the site just 5 days ago, I noticed I had 23 new messages. So stupid me I pull out my credit card and pay the 49.95 fee so i can see my messages and reply to them.

When I look at most of the messages, I see very beautiful women, and I can tell they are all fake, because why would a beautiful woman be on a dating website like Mate1? IT NEVER HAPPENS! They would never need or think of using a dating website, because they would not have a problem finding a date where they live. So i know most of the girls are fake.

Another problem, alot of girls that do want to chat online using MATE1.COM, about 95% of them want you to join their WEBCAM site and enter your credit card info. And they send you a link to a website that is NOT secure, and when I research the website they take you to, it is a website that is registered and owned by a company and hosted by a company in Malaysia or another foreign company, so the only purpose of the site is to steal your credit card info.

Does Mate1 do anything about it? No! They will not easily delete users because they need the membership fees to make a huge profit.

I looked at Mate1 on Google, and they have alot of negative complaints about them.

I researched MATE1.COM on the Better Business Bureau website, and they have a rating of F, which means DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MATE1.

Do NOT be a customer, and DO NOT be an employee!

I am going to file a $100,000 lawsuit against this company for FRAUD, as I have complete copies of all 75 pages of messages on my account.

I will be hiring a private investigator in New York to serve court papers to the owners of MATE1.COM company to appear in court in Los Angeles.

This is the owner of the company:

DK,

You are an idiot and your post serves no purpose at all. You actually made a comment and spoke before you thought about what you were going to say.

I did not know I was being scammed until just 10 days ago, and when i did alot of research and investigating online into this company, I finally figured out what they were doing, how they were doing this, and the fact they are doing this to thousands of members online every month including me.

My posts are to educate people and the consumers so they will know from bad experiences of former Mate1.com customers before they decide to pay them for a service they will never receive.

The only thing that NEW customers who use the trial or pay the $49.95 monthly fee will receive is about 85% of activity and communications from girls who are illigitimate and fraudulent.

AFTER you decided the site was a scam? Geesh! The only one ripping you off is YOU. If you think something is a scam yet you keep giving them money, you deserve to lose your money. Use a little common sense next time.

ANOTHER UPDATE

AUTHOR: Victim Of Fraud - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 18, 2009

I looked at the Mate1.com site terms and conditions page, and they have a specific section 8 called Online Ambassadors.

This is the wording from their section 8:

"Online Ambassadors. Mate1.com Inc. will, from time to time, hire individuals with Mate1 profiles, who shall be called "Online Ambassadors", to greet and otherwise communicate with all classes of Mate1.com members via email and/or instant messenger and to help safeguard against abuse of the Terms of Service of the web site by reporting wrongdoing to site administrators. The mission of the "Online Ambassador" is to interact with said Members, at their sole discretion, with a view to welcoming said Members and encouraging their active participation on the web site. The Online Ambassadors will work to familiarize new Members with the various communication features of Mate1.com by answering and following up on correspondence initiated by Mate1.com on their behalf. The Online Ambassadors will, in the same way, encourage both old and new members to add photos and voice recordings to their profiles and otherwise complete and enhance the written parts of their profiles in order to increase their visibility and appeal to other members. The Online Ambassadors will have the OA logo () or an Online Ambassador tag prominently displayed on their profiles in the Mate1.com web site, and these letters will comprise an html link to the Terms and Conditions containing the present explanation of the meaning of said letters. Former Online Ambassadors will have the Former OA logo () or the words Former Online Ambassador prominently displayed on their profiles. Former OAs are people who were once Online Ambassadors but are not currently. These letters (OA, Online Ambassador, Former OA, and Former Online Ambassador) will comprise an HTML link to the FAQ containing the present explanation of the meaning of said letters. The Online Ambassadors and Former Online Ambassadorsare not responsible for explicitly notifying Members with whom they correspond of their status as Online Ambassadors. As is the case with all Mate1.com members, Mate1.com Inc. is not responsible for verifying the content of the Online Ambassadors' profiles or auditing the content of their email or instant messages. THE ONLINE AMBASSADORS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVES OF MATE1.COM OR OF MATE1.COM INC.; THEY CANNOT USE THIS WEB SITE TO SELL OR TRADE ANYTHING, TO MAKE ANY PROMISES OR REPRESENTATIONS OR TO TAKE ANY ENGAGEMENTS WHATSOEVER IN THE NAME OF MATE1.COM OR MATE1.COM INC. ANY INAPPROPRIATE OR SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOR BY AN ONLINE AMBASSADOR SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF MATE 1."

This Section 8 basically states the job description of their online ambassadors is the following:

1. to greet and otherwise communicate with all classes of Mate1.com members via email and/or instant messenger;

2. to help safeguard against abuse of the Terms of Service of the web site by reporting wrongdoing to site administrators

3. to interact with said Members, at their sole discretion, with a view to welcoming said Members and encouraging their active participation on the web site.

4. The Online Ambassadors will work to familiarize new Members with the various communication features of Mate1.com by answering and following up on correspondence initiated by Mate1.com on their behalf

5. The Online Ambassadors will, in the same way, encourage both old and new members to add photos and voice recordings to their profiles and otherwise complete and enhance the written parts of their profiles in order to increase their visibility and appeal to other members.

HERE IS THE CONTENT OF 100% OF ALL EMAILS AND COMMUNICATION MESSAGES I RECEIVE FROM THE ONLINE AMBASSADORS:

"I would like to correspond with you. Please check out my profile and let me know if you are interested."

HERE IS WHERE THE FRAUD IS TAKING PLACE:

1. In no way are they greeting me as an Online Ambassador.

2. I am not a new member, i have been a member for 8 months, but before I paid my $50 membership, I received 23 OF THESE new messages from online ambassadors stating "I would like to correspond with you. Please check out my profile and let me know if you are interested."

3. The messages they send me in no way serve any purpose or accomplish any GOALS or responsibilities as stated in Mate1.com's terms and conditions under Section 8, which describes the purpose of Online ambassadors.

4. 100% of all messages I get from Online Ambassadors lead me to believe that they are interested in me and want to communicate with me. So people get excitied and pull out their credit card to pay for the monthly membership so they can be able to respond back to these emails they receive. If they do not pay, they will never see who sent them a message, and they will never be able to respond, they will only see the fact that they received 23 new messages. This is FRAUD and a SCAM!

5. In no way nor have ANY Online Ambassador, in my 8 months and over 300 messages from OA's, have they EVER offered to help me use the site or greet me as an OA, in any way.

THEY ARE A FRAUD, AND THEY ARE ALL ENGAGING IN ILLEGAL AND UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES TO SIMPLY GAIN PROFITS, AND IN NO WAY DO ONLINE AMBASSADORS OR THE MATE1 SITE CARE ABOUT YOU FINDING THE RIGHT PERSON FOR YOU. THERE GOAL IS ONLY PROFITS.

THEY ARE A FRAUD AND A SCAM!

ANOTHER UPDATE

AUTHOR: Victim Of Fraud - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 18, 2009

I called into Mate1.com Customer Service and was on hold for 13 minutes before I could speak to someone about this scam and to ask for a refund.

When i confronted the customer service rep and asked for a refund, they stated the following:

1. There is a feature in our account that allows us to NOT receive communications from Online Ambassadors. However, ALL new members will never know they are involved in a SCAM, and will not know how it works, what to look for, and not know what is happening to them until after several months, hours of lost time, and lost money spent over several months for a service that is deceiving and fraudulent.

2. You will not ever get a refund because it is stated in the terms and conditions statement on their site that protects them, and it is perfectly their rights to conduct business in the manner they have been doing by hiring and paying Online Ambassadors to send thousands of fraudulent, deceptive, and misleading messages to members every month.

3. They said my complaint is not true and is false because there are actually Online Ambassadors who actually are looking for a date or a companion, and that not all Online Ambassadors are conducting unethical business practices.

The truth is, these Online Ambassadors are PAID employees of Mate1.com to generate false activity, to generate false user accounts, photos, and profile statements, to generate false messages telling members they are interested in them, when it is all fake, false, misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, and a total scam. Without these Online Ambassadors generating false activitiy and false communications, their membership fees and profits would probably go down by over 50% of what it really is.

There is even a complete detailed report from a FORMER employee or online ambassador that details this entire fraud and scam, and confirms this is in fact what is actually taking place.

So when i was still on the phone demanding a refund, they said they would never refund my money, and they hung up on me.

I questioned their response that their terms and conditions policy on their website protects them and their business practices, and why would ANY company have to include in their online policy statement "that Mate1.com company will conduct unethical business practices by misleading and deceiving the members, and we are agreeing to these practices by paying for the service online."

I called 3 more times to their customer service department which is in Canada and the number is 888-688-4760 and after waiting on hold for 9 minutes each time, all 3 times I called they actually knew it was me calling and they hung up on me without even speaking.

I have been a member of Mate1.com site for 8 months now, and I just spent 40 minutes going through all my received and sent communications (I have 70 pages of messages) with ALL members of Mate1.com website.

What did I find?

Atleast 80% of all communications I received were from Online Ambassadors (OA) and Former Online Ambassadors (FOA) who are actually EMPLOYEES of Mate1.com

The OA's and FOA's primary interests is to not communicate with you as they are not interested in you, they are ONLY interested in your wallet and to get you to keep paying the monthly fee making you think you have alot of members consistently interested in you.

80% of all communications were fraudulent, causing members to waste hundreds of hours of their time sending honest and sincere responses back to girls they think they are interested in, this is TRULY fraud because the company that you are paying to use the services is the company that is ripping you off to continue paying them.

The results?

After months, you don't find anyone, you lose ALL trust in any female wether online or someone you met in your community because you feel like they are all liars and ripoffs. You waste hundreds of hours talking to girls reading their profiles and looking at their photos and then realizing their photos and stories are all fake and fraudulent.

How can anyone ever want to date after experiencing something like this? This is really screwing with peoples lives just for profit!
