    United States of America has illegally charged me $49.95 for a service I never received. I looked on their site, but could not log on. They charged me anyway. And they will not let up. Total scam company. PLEASE don Internet

*General Comment: My experience is nothing like your with Mate1!

Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors... invited me to look at their site for free for 3 days. I was unable to ever log on, or see their site, but they have illegally charged me $49.95 for a service I never was able to even access.

This company is a total scam and PLEASE don't go through what I and many members of this site have. They had my credit card info from 2011 and illegally charged me despite my continuous attempts to cancel.

This company is a total rip off and has hounded me 14 times in 3 days. PLEASE don't ever use their site or you will experience the same.

My experience is nothing like your with Mate1!

I forgot to cancel my trial membership and was late by 2 days and I had already been billed.  I called the toll-free number and the rep I spoke to could not have been more helpful.  She explained the billing info that I saw upon purchasing about the need to cancel before the trial was up to prevent the renewal.  They also have 4 different ways that a member can cancel as well!  There really was no excuse for my late cancellation other than to say that it was my own fault.  So even though I was cancelling late, they still allowed me to apply for a full refund using the refund policy on their website!  You just need to be within 3 days of your billing date to do it.  I had my money back within 2 weeks! 

It really sounds to me like you are just mad at yourself for not cancelling in time.  Oh, and you can also ask for your password by clicking  a handy link on the log-in page.  I saw that they have email support too, so I am sure you can email them directly with any questions too.  I don't know, but I found this site's support to be top notch and I might even re-join again in the spring.
