Mathis Tire and Auto Memphis Tennessee Lied and Did Not Honor or Back up There Work Memphis, Tennessee

I took my car to Mathis tire in Memphis Tennessee. Every one of there stores carries the Goodyear name, and Goodyear said if they get enough complaints that they can lose the Goodyear name, so let me help out. I have a 2010 Honda Pilot. I took it to Mathis Tire on Mt. Moriah in Memphis for a brake job. I told the manager I wanted to use Honda pads and not after market. The manager told me I could either run up the street and buy the brake padsat the Honda dealership, or he would go get them.

He never once said if I went to get them, that they would not give me a warranty. When they finished working on my car, I was also not disclosed about the no warranty policy if I brought my own brake pads. Heck, they are the ones who gave me a choice of going down the street to get them or they would go get them. They just didn't bother to tell me no warranty if I got them, or I would have let them get the pads. Mathis Tire didn't turn the rotors. They had an outside company called ABC mobile brakes come out and do it.

Anything over 50 miles and hour, as soon as I touch the brakes, it shakes so bad, it scares you. I went to Mathis Tirewhere I had the work done and they had fired the previous managers and some of the workers that were there when I had my car repaired.............Well GEE, I wonder why? The manager pulled my receipt and said I had no warranty because I brought my own parts, which I was never informed. He refused to do anything, and he had a very bad attitude. I called the corporate office on park Ave. in Memphis and talk to the sales manager.. He had a bad attitude and refused to help me too?.

I them sent e-mails to Goodyear and also talk to them on the phone,. Wow what a difference they made:. The assistant general manager over all of the stores named Julie called me and said I could bring my car in for them to repair it right:. I thought about it a few days and decided that since they did bad work the first time, I wanted to take it some where else and have it done". I called Julkie back and she refused to pay for it to have done some place else or refund my money if I didn't bring it to them,.

Maybe this is why Mathis Tire has 49 complaints with the Better Business Bureau.. I will continue to write Goodyear and complain all over the Internet about this company until they learn how to do honest business. << I wrote all this a while back and here is an update. The store manager at there corporate office store on Park Ave is Curtis. He called and wanted to make things right. Now, take it they messed up my entire brake job. Curtis offered to put Honda Brake pads and some after market rotors on the front of my car. He didn't offer to use Honda genuine parts as I only use, but decided to go to CarQuest auto parts and get the cheap after market rotors, and will not do my back brakes. I told him no. I said I don't trust you people to fix my car and Honda needs to fix it and they need to pay for it. Of course he said no. My brakes are so bad now, it is almost not drivable...Don't do business with these people. Go look at the Better Business Bureaus web site too.
