Matress 1 One "FREE PILLOWS" Port Richey, Florida

On Sunday, Feb., 17th my partner and I went shopping for a new bed.  We looked at several places,

Sears, Mattress Firm, Macy's with our last stop being Mattress 1 One as it was on the way home.  The salesperson greeted us, and asked us what we were looking for. We told him we were interested in a King Size Memory Foam Mattress.  He led us to the Serta Apple Valley.  The Presidents Day sale was underway, any size bed for one price.  We both liked the bed.  The sales ticket was written up with financing made through Progressive Financing.  The bed was scheduled to deliver Sat., Feb 23rd.  Somewhere between 10:30am and 12:00 pm the sales person called to inform us they had run out of these beds at the warehouse, and apologized.  The soonest the bed could be delivered was Mon., the 25th or Tues the 26th.  Naturally we were disappointed.  Arrangements were made to have the bed deliver on Mon., Feb., 25th.  The salesperson indicated the company was offering "FREE" pillows for the inconvenience.  The bed delivered as agreed on Mon., Feb 25th.  However this cost me 4 hours (1/2 day) of Vacation time ($62.36). The offer of "FREE" pillows would more than offset this inconvenience and piss poor planning on the behalf of Mattress 1 One for not having enough beds on hand in the first place.  The "FREE" pillow turned out to be a "DISPLAY PILLOW"! ! ! What a joke.  I felt this was very deceptive and misleading. I will not be recommending Mattress 1 One to any of my friends, family or co-workers.
