Mattress Firm MF and Sealy/Stearns & Foster warranty is not worth the paper it is printed on! Houston Texas

We purchased a top of the line Stearns & Foster king size mattress and box springs 12/22/02. For years I had more and more joint problems due to the mattress sinking farther and farther toward the springs, even sought medical care.

The warranty states, that 1.5" of sag is "normal" ~ They call "sag" what you can see w/ the naked eye. Thing is, with the pillow top, you can not see the entire amount of sag w/o putting any weight on the mattress. After we paid the $25 for the inspector to come out and inspect the mattress...all he does is put a string across the mattress and measures the sag. In the end, they did not stand behind the warranty because there was a WATER stain on one corner of the mattress...they said the unsanitary conditions of the mattress voided any and all warranties ~ even tho we purchased the "stainsafe" policy as well.

I would not purchase a mattress cover from sealy posturepedic/stearns and foster and or mattress firm. They are a joke!!
