All consumers should be aware that this website is owned and operated by one individual, who's engaging in fraudulent selling practices to boost sales. He is lying about the capabilities of his products and selling them under false pretenses. I did some research and found out this seller's ACTUAL company is called "JRB Enterprise Group," which has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. He operates his company under the following names: Mattressquote.com, AntiAgingBed, Luxury Brands Unlimited, and The Home Furnishings Retailer. It's evident he is using these other business names as a cloak to hide an already established poor business reputation. I would recommend that all potential buyers avoid this seller. I am still trying to recoup our losses from purchasing with him.

For those interested in the details:

On October 21, 2015, I spoke with John Baxter of Mattressquote.com on the phone to discuss the Ergomotion 5100 adjustable bed base.  I asked John if the bed base had re-programmable factory presets that could be re-programmed to the user's favorite settings, since this was a feature we had to have on our bed.  John told me that the bed had this capability.  I asked if he would price match a competitor and he agreed to price match; I wanted to work with John because he's the only person I could get on the phone to answer questions about the beds, which I later found to be false informaton.  I told him I wanted a night to go over it with my fiancee.  The next day, John texted my personal phone (which he was not invited to do) to push the sale into a "1-day only" offer.  I agreed to purchase the bed and we went forward with the purchase.  The bed was delivered on November 11, and I noticed the bed did not have re-programmable features as John promised.  I called John at 2:40pm, and he explicitly stated that the Zero G function could be re-programmed (again) and he would reach out to Ergomotion and get back to me.  I told him if the bed did not have the functions, then we would like to return it but would not be paying return shipping since he had given incorrect information on the bed he sold to us.  The next day, John got back to me stating that Ergomotion would not work with him, and asked what I wanted to do.  I restated that I would like a refund, and he said that he would allow a refund, but I would have to pay for return shipping (which would cost $500+, per the quotes I received).  I have kept notes and written correspondence on all communication with John Baxter.  He gave us false information about the product he was selling, and now is hiding behind his store policy like a coward, which he believes gives him the right to state whatever he wants about a product in order to secure a sale, and then handcuff the consumer into keeping the product because it is too expensive to return.

I have made complaints to the BBB, Florida Department of Agrictulture, Attorney General's Office, and my credit card company.  With each different official seller response, John's responses have become increasingly false.  He is now making up stories that I had contacted the manufacturers to get information (I was unable to find their contact information) and he now states that he provided no information about the products he was selling.  There is no integrity with this individual, and I would strongly recommend consumers giving their money to more trustworthy vendors.

UNTRUE & FALSE STATEMENTS

AUTHOR: John - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 19, 2016

My name is John Baxter and this individual bought on our website agreed to the terms and conditions, which state no adjustable beds have returns. This individual shopped around and called the manufacture himself to ask them the questions he needed before buying. To further help the customer we offered a return minus shipping costs. He refused. His own credit card company sided with us, along with the BBB and all the federal companies he started issues with.

Long story short if we did ANYTHING wrong it is in the customers own mind. All have sided with our company. We did this individual a good service and saved him over $1500 over retail. He should have no issues at all.
