I don't provide the MVT Shield so I can argue with people via email. It's a product I designed that is custom hand made. A wait list was described and anticipated. Again, I'm not Amazon.com. Everyone else has waited patiently and received the product. Why you think I should only take payment when I ship, when I have to buy material to make it, is beyond me.
Again, you would already have received the product if you had responded that you still wanted it.

The order was placed August 10th through PayPal. The credit card was charged that day. We waited over 90 days before asking for a refund—Nov. 13, 2014. That is plenty of time for fullfulment. Additionally it was beyond the thirty day refund policy of PayPal. So we are hanging out here still. "There was little delay getting him his refund..." He says he has paid us and as of today January 23, 2015, almost six months, we have still have not been refunded our money. What proof do you have Max Velocity that you paid us?

I cant see why this consumer is so disgruntled. He got his money back. Moreover, this is a small operation and things take time. Refunds are never overnight. A few months ago I purchased a ticket to Germany on Lufthansa, I was flying from a US city to Munich. I wanted to change my ticket a few days after purchasing the ticket. In order to do that I would have to cancel my old ticket and buy a new one. They would refund me for the old ticket. They're told me it would take 6-8 weeks for the refund to credit my account. So if one of the oldest airlines in the world takes 2 months for refunds, I don't know why there is a problem with this refund. In my dealings with Max Velocity he has been very prompt and reliable.

This customer did receive a refund. He filed this report after receiving the refund. He has been a very difficult person to deal with and is filing reports on the internet as a form of personal vendetta/spite.
When the product he ordered was advertised, it was made clear that it was a hand-made product and that there would be an approximate 3 month wait time. The customer was unable to wait for this period and emailed complaining. He was offered a refund but did not respond for some time. His order would have shipped to him but was put on hold pending his response i.e. product or refund?
He eventually responded that he wanted a refund and there was a short delay in getting the refund to him due to other factors - this is a small business and it was not priotity at the time. He has since recieved his refund.
There is no specific refund pilicy for this product, and on receiving the orders we purchase meterial to make it. We simply refunded him because he did not have the patience to wait the advertised wait time and is an unreasonable person.

Bottom line, this guy is an a*s. There are no other complinats from anyone about this product, and this customer would have received it had he not complained and then ignored my email response. He will never recieve this product, he is BANNED.
