I too have been a victim of this so called "Maximum Platinum" online shopping. I never authorized any kind of transaction to take place. I was filling out an online application for a payday loan and as many who have had to fill out the application you have to disclose personal information about your account such as account number and a routing number.

I thought I was filling out an aplication to be placed to several companies to concider lending me money only to find out when this maximum platinum popped up it automatically charges you for there "online" shopping. I do not recall ever seeing this pop up and if I did and just don't recall it I would have never agreed to those terms.

According to other persons testemonies they too have had this pop up and even with closing out the box were still being charged for outragous and bogus services. When I tried to access the site I could not get anything. I called the 800 number given and continue to get the same woman, who claims to come from a call center. But for some reason it is the same black female who continues to argue with me about the service.

When I asked her about my money and how I am to get it returned to me she stated that I needed to go to my local police department and file an identity theft report. She continued to tell me that the website was legit and that she would not be advising me to contact the police. However they want to state it, it all adds up to something fishy to me. I had to immediatly contact my bank the second I noticed that there was an unauthorized transaction so I could file a dispute.

I have been keeping a very very close eye on this to ensure that there are no more unauthorized transactions. I have been advised that if you are a victim of this you might have to go to the extreem of canceling your bank account and re opening a new one to stop them from taking any more money out. I am still unsure if my bank will be able to assist me in getting my money back but heed this warning and be very careful when filling out and disclosing any personal information about your bank account.

I cannot recall what company I went through that was supposed to send out my personal information to several companies offering a payday advance but that is how this particular company is getting your information and pulling money out. They need to be stopped, it is unethical and just plain wrong!
