I was hired 2/14/2011 for a 3:00 to 8:30 shift. On that day there was 8hrs of training which included 2hrs of being on the telephone. On 2/15/2011 unfortunetly on my way to work I was involved in a minor car accident and could not make it to work. I did call at a acceptable time to inform them the circumstances and that I would not be able to make it.I returned to work the next day 2/16/2011 at 3:00 and proceded to work. In those 5 hours I was able to turn it one lead and I do not believe it was called back to confirm because the next day I called the potential customer and she informed me that no one called her back. On 2/19/2011 I went to work as usual. I was not able to turn in any leads that day(it was a rough day for everyone). Close to the end of my shift I was called into the office by one of my supervisors and informed that I was suspended for 3 days for poor performance. I was not given a verbal warning,a written warning, or the chance to sign up for a advanced training class which they offer to the employees. I have had 2yrs experience in appointment setting and I'am very good at what I do. The supervisor that suspended me was Emilio. I do not feel that 2 days and only 10hrs is enough time to have a 2 page script and 19 rebuttals memorized. Today is 2/24/2011 and I'am suspose to call Emilio at 6:00pm to see if they "want me back". If I'm allowed to return I feel I should be compensated for the 3 days that I was not allowed to work. Thank You
