MaxLend Bullies Telephone Harassment Internet

Early last year, I applied for a loan with MaxLend.   It was less than $500.00.  I was unimpressed with their website in the respect that they had no way of showing you a schedule of payments or any other useful information other than their phone number.

I opted to have my loan/interest payments deducted from my bank account which occurred every other week. For several months, this went as expected and I did not encounter any problematic issues.  Several months later, I noticed that no payment was deducted from my bank account to continue making payments on this loan.   I tried calling MaxLend.  There was no explanation given for this issue, however they promised to have someone contact me.  No one called me back.

In early September of 2014, I received a call from MaxLend asking me to authorize a payment on this loan.   I agreed to authorize a payment and AGAIN, no payment was deducted from my bank account.   Now, this year in mid January of 2015, they are calling me, threatening to escalate the issue.  What does this mean?  MaxLend agreed to deduct payments from my account and they stopped doing this and did not resume when I verbally authorized them to deduct payment over the phone.

Since I am assuming that MaxLend operates under some kind of tribal laws, I don't know what the consequences are of not paying off my balance which I believe is less then $350.00 and how they can start harassing me when they were the ones who stopped deducting payments.
