Mayfair New York Times Square Mayfair Hotel Misleading & Heartless New York New York

 I went on to Booking.com to find a hotel in New York. I found this one and was interested. It told me to hurry and book because only one room was left. So I made a reservation just in case while I searched other properties. Almost all hotels on Booking.com let's you reserve and has free cancellation up until 3 days before the reservation. Not Mayfair Hotel. The minute you push the button it tags you and will not let you cancel unless you pay a 30% cancellation fee. Even though other hotels are popping up and trying to get you to look at their properties. I know this could be a problem with Booking.com but I will give them credit. They tried to speak to the hotel who would not even concede one bit. Even though I need to be in Pennsylvania for a wedding with my daughter. I'm so furious that they have no heart and are being so ridiculous to not let me cancel even when the date was a month away. I can understand a day before but a month. They will fill that room ten times! All I want to do is cancel my reservation. I just want to warn people to stay away from this hotel. They are heartless and will take your money!
