On January 2,2009 I was searching on the internet for some sort of virus protection. AVG was my first choice when I searched on google this site came up and said it was a free download.
So I ordered and my account was charged but I had no software or anything to show for the $40.00 dollars that was taken out of my acct.
I then searched rip-off report and my heart sank I knew I had been ripped off by these snakes.
I don't know who is behind this company but I have found out that they use mbcontact.com to handle the money end of the deal. I guess they hide behind them.
Is there not any regulation on this sort of thing on the internet, I mean my goodness this is 2009!!
My money is too hard to come by! As I am sure everyone is now days. I called the real AVG company and talked to a rep and explained to him what had happened and he said he had no idea who these people were and he would report it.
Thank God for the ripoff report site. I plan on using it before I make any online purchase in the future! This is my one and only New Years Resolution. This is a great site!!
